Art deco, afloat. THE WELLESLEY is a 56.2m (184ft) Oceanco built in 1993 and refit in 2016, with an interior styled in a 1920s-inspired theme and a proper cigar lounge for post-dinner lingering.
Deck space matters. She is known for having some of the largest open deck areas for a yacht of her size, so 12 guests can actually spread out between lounging and dining without playing musical chairs. No rush.
Serious water setup. A beach club and swim platform keep the sea access easy, while the deck Jacuzzi and sundeck plunge pool cover the “do nothing” hours nicely. Stabilizers underway and at anchor help keep plans on track.
Twelve guests, six suites. Sleeps 12 in 6 cabins, including an upper deck master and a full-beam second master on the lower deck for extra privacy. On the toy front: a 9.14m ZAR chase tender, multiple jet skis, Seabobs, a Fliteboard e-foil, and an inflatable slide from the sundeck for the brave (or the easily peer-pressured).
