SAMARA Yacht Description
-
Expansive Beach Club with Hydraulic Swim Platform:
Transforms into a social beach club with chairs and inflatables for fun family time at water level. -
Two Seadoo Spark Jet Skis (2024/2025 models):
Rare for a catamaran, perfect for thrill seekers wanting fast, splashy water adventures on the waves. -
Jacuzzi Deck with Petal-shaped Loungers:
Private sun-soaked oasis on deck for romance, relaxation, and cocktail evenings with stunning panoramic views.
Start with the cheat code: SAMARA is an 80ft power cat that behaves like a much bigger superyacht: a full **owner’s deck with private jacuzzi off the master**, a cinema-on-the-flybridge with popcorn machine, and a beach-club swim platform built for toys, not brochure photos.
Space vs. length is the hack here. She sleeps **8 guests in 4 cabins**, but gives you roughly 4,000 sq ft of living area thanks to that wide catamaran beam and multi-level layout. Translation: real separation of spaces – aft dining terrace, sunken lounge with **fireplace**, master on the main deck, and an upper deck that can switch from “private garden with cabanas” to “outdoor movie night” in about five minutes.
Water-level living is baked in, not bolted on. The **hydraulic swim platform** drops to form a proper beach club: easy launch for the **8m chase tender, two jetskis, e-foils, Seabob, sea scooters, kayaks, towables, diving gear (rendezvous)** and the usual wakeboards, skis, and floating island. If your idea of “relaxing” involves engines, fins or bubbles, this platform is home base.
For clients who like their comfort modern and recently upgraded: built **2016**, refitted through **2025** (new teak, revamped saloon and galley, refreshed jacuzzi, upgraded AV and lighting). Full air‑con, strong Wi‑Fi, Control4 audio, and a chef on board whose sample menu reads more like a serious restaurant than “yacht food”.
Why charter SAMARA instead of a same-size mono: more volume, more outdoor zones, shallower draft for sneaking into bays, and a layout that actually works for mixed groups – kids on the toys at the beach club, someone doing yoga or reading in a flybridge cabana, others in the sunken lounge pretending the fireplace was “a logical choice for a yacht”. If you want a compact boat that behaves like a small resort, this is the one.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like SAMARA, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (€16,250 - €26,000), making the charter cost €81,250 to €91,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew
Captain: Stavros Dritsas
Grigoris runs Samara with the steady edge of a former national sailing champion, reading wind, swell, and traffic so your route through the Greek islands feels sharp, safe, and never frantic. He keeps the program tight and relaxed at the same time—smart anchorages, clean timing, and the kind of calm command that lets you drop your guard and just enjoy the water.
- Greek nationality; born 1996
- Former Greek National Sailing Team athlete and national sailing champion
- Member of the Panhellenic Professional Skipper's Association
- Charter and cruising experience across the Aegean, Ionian, and Caribbean seas
Triantafillos hits your table with tight, flavor‑driven menus—sushi runs, Mediterranean plates, slow-cooked Greek comfort—built around how you actually eat on the water, light when you move and deep when the day slows down. He works fast under pressure and pivots hard to preferences, turning Samara’s galley into a custom restaurant that tracks your appetite, not a fixed script.
- Greek nationality; born 1985
- 10+ years professional experience as chef, including yacht Kimata
- Specializes in sushi, Mediterranean cuisine, and pastry
- Shore-based background at Boracay (Glyfada) and other high-end kitchens
Annet runs the interior like a fast, quiet system—cabins reset, tables turned, drinks in hand—while reading guests on the fly and dialing service from low‑key to full‑on without missing a beat. She folds spa‑level touch and calm energy into the trip, so the yacht always feels composed, even when the schedule isn’t.
- Yachting and hospitality experience since 2021
- Background in massage therapy and wellness services
- Fluent in English, Polish, Ukrainian, and Russian
- Experienced in high-end guest service aboard Samara and other yachts
George keeps Samara’s outside game tight—lines, toys, tenders, and beach setups—so your days slide from cruising to diving to sunset runs without delay or drama. He moves fast, anticipates what’s next, and keeps the decks clean and ready so you only see the fun, not the work behind it.
- Professional yachting experience since 2022
- Fluent in Greek and English
- Service background across multiple yacht roles before joining Samara

Reviews
our last.
Two families of four chartered this luxurious and spacious yacht for one week. We planned to depart
from Athens, travel south to the Cyclades, visit several islands, and disembark in Santorini.
We were given a very warm welcome upon boarding, with a beautifully presented light lunch and cold
champagne. We then set sail out of Athens harbor to our first anchoring point near the island of Spetses
where we enjoyed our first of seven amazing sunsets and even more amazing meals. After our first
evening, the captain informed us that the wind was picking up near the Cyclades. He said it would not
be dangerous and we could still proceed, but it would be a bumpier ride when traveling, and the water
could also be choppier when at anchor. Captain Lev was aware that we wanted to enjoy our time in the
water and use the water toys as much as possible. The Captain was very communicative from the start.
He recommended staying close by for another day to see if the wind would die down and if not, we
could modify our plans and visit islands not on the original itinerary. We put our trust in the extremely
competent Captain Lev and visited some of the most beautiful, unspoiled spots we could ever have
imagined.
Meanwhile, Tria made sure to “wow’ us daily - not only with the presentation but with the amazing
flavors of spectacular dishes prepared from fresh, delicious local produce. We have some early risers
and some late sleepers in our group but whatever time we woke up Tria and Annet were there with a
smile and an amazing variety of breakfast options. Tria also communicated with us daily making
suggestions such as a lighter lunch because of a bigger dinner, or vice versa. Our boys discovered an
octopus while spearfishing and Tria, always eager to please, dove down to show us how to properly
catch and humanely kill what would be a nice addition to our final dinner!
Christos spent lots of time ensuring that our four (20-something-year-old) “boys’ were kept busy. He
was up early every morning preparing the many water toys and cheering on the participants in their
endeavors. He was the steady arm we would lean on when getting in and out of the tender and he
would drive us back and forth to various islands no matter the time of night. Like all on board, he wore
many hats and was eager to show off his bartending abilities and mastery of the grill. Christos even
shared some of his personal food, as one night we had an amazing meal -- Kokoretsi sausage which
came from his village!
Annet kept us endlessly amazed at the beautiful table settings which changed for every meal. She took
great pride and put a lot of effort into not only setting the tables but also making most of the decorative
items on display. She kept our beautiful cabins spotless and our glasses filled. Nothing was too much
trouble.
In short, this crew worked together to ensure that our trip was one that we will remember forever. Each
one of them added a “special-something” to the week. From Captain Lev’s quiet confidence and
professionalism to Tria’s enthusiasm and obvious passion for what he does, Annet’s attention to detail
and sense of humor, and Christos’s love for and knowledge of all things Greek. We’ll never forget the
crew of the Samara or the very special week they gave us!
