Advertised by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht NAMASTE (SAMANA) is a 61 ft sailing catamaran. NAMASTE (SAMANA) spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was completed by the well-known ship builder FOUNTAINE PAJOT in 2021. The spacious yacht layout features 4 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.
NAMASTE (SAMANA) is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The yacht layout radiates from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is where heart of the yacht is and that's where most of the delicious meals are served. The modern cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). The cabins are connected by stairs to the main saloon - roomy, comfortable and pleasant. Multiple portholes add to the feeling of connection with the discovered environment.
The sailboat features Volvo 2 X 150CV 2 X Fisher Panda 12KW engines and a generator.

Captain: Giannis Moschos
Born in 1981 and raised in the charming town of Patras, Achaia, Greece, Captain Giannis Moschos developed an early affinity for the sea. Spending his summers in the quaint fishing village of Psathopyrgos, near the renowned Cape Drepano, also known as the Mecca of Wind, he cultivated a love for water sports, particularly sailing windsurfing and surfing.
Although his journey to the maritime world took a detour, Captain Giannis initially pursued studies in IT. Following in his father's footsteps, he embarked on a career as a sales representative for over a decade. Despite the demands of his profession, his passion for the sea remained unwavering, and he continued to participate in competitive sailing and windsurfing events.
In 2012, Captain Giannis decided to turn his lifelong passion into a career and transitioned to becoming a commercial skipper. With an extensive background in boatyards and formal education from the Royal Yachting Association in Portsmouth, England, he earned the designation of Commercial Yachtmaster for vessels up to 200GT.
Over the years, Captain Giannis has amassed thousands of nautical miles, navigating diverse waters and hosting numerous charters around the world. His proficiency extends to every aspect of the profession, including yacht handling, safety, seamanship, weather routing, and exceptional communication and social skills with a guest-focused attitude.
For Captain Giannis, being a skipper is not merely a profession; it is a lifestyle. Grounded in ethos, responsibility, and courteousness, coupled with his extensive local knowledge of islands, culinary expertise, and a passion for outstanding hospitality, he and his crew are dedicated to ensuring that your vacation experience is truly unforgettable.
Chef: Nicolas Chaldaios
Born in 1993, chef Nicolas graduated from the prestigious Private Cooking University DOMI in Athens in 2012. Since then, he has diligently worked his way up from a chef assistant to positions such as sous chef, chef de partie, and chef de cuisine, honing his skills in various restaurants and hotels throughout Greece. Specializing in Greek and Italian cuisine, Nicolas is known for his meticulous attention to detail and ability to adapt to different nutritional plans. As he embarks on a new chapter in the yachting industry, his hard-working nature, eagerness to learn, openness to challenges, and positive attitude will undoubtedly continue to drive his success. Fluent in both Greek and English, he effortlessly communicates among his guests and crew members alike, as well as navigates easily in diverse culinary environments, making him a valuable asset on board Namaste.
Stew/Deckhand: Emmanouil (Manos) Tzanidis
Manos has been a dedicated deckhand since 2022, bringing a wealth of experience from his extensive background in various service sectors. A seasoned sailor, Manos has participated in numerous sailing races, showcasing his adept maritime skills. He holds both a Speedboat Diploma and a sailing Diploma, further underscoring his expertise on the water. As a certified diver, his versatility and safety awareness at sea are his second nature! He is kind, professional and a great team player. Fluent in Greek and English, Manos is a valuable asset to the Namaste crew, ensuring smooth operations and top-notch service.
