Start with the real cheat code: DOUBLE EAGLE is a 39.6m classic wooden gulet that actually sleeps 12 guests in 5 flexible cabins, including two full master suites and convertible twins. If you’re trying to get a big group on one boat without going full cruise‑ship, this is your workaround.
Deck life is the main operating system. You get three serious outdoor zones: a deep cushioned aft deck with a long marble dining table under shade for proper meals, a forward deck stacked with sunpads and a second, more casual dining spot, plus a flybridge with panoramic views, loungers and a mix of sun and shade. Translation: everyone can “escape” each other without leaving the yacht.
Water toys: not theoretical. An 8m, 250hp tender that actually moves 12 people, plus jet ski, Seabob, waterskis, wakeboard, paddleboards, canoe, ringo and full snorkelling kit. If your plan is “anchor somewhere nice and not get bored for a week,” this setup was built for that.
Refit brain, classic body. Built 2005, refitted repeatedly up to 2023/24, DOUBLE EAGLE runs full air‑conditioning and Wi‑Fi, with smart TVs in salon, aft deck and all cabins, streaming (Netflix, YouTube, IPTV) and a PS4 for the screen‑addicted. Old‑school wood hull; not old‑school systems.
Crew is not just background process. Six crew, including an award‑winning chef (TYBA honours in 2023) and a team that just picked up a “Best Welcoming Crew” award. Menu runs from serious modern Turkish to Italian, Asian and Mexican. If food and service matter more than shiny chrome, this is where that budget actually shows.
Why pick DOUBLE EAGLE instead of another 130-footer: because you get a full‑size wooden gulet with big‑group sleeping capacity, genuinely usable deck space, a serious toy locker and a proven, English‑speaking crew that already wins awards for the two things charters live or die on: hospitality and food.
Accommodation
Accommodation is quite flexible and can be provided for up to 12 guests in 5 cabins by utlizing the 2 queen sized beds in the master cabin. The aft Master has 2 double beds: 2m x 1.6 m x 2 beds
Forward master : 2 m x 1.60 m
1 Double cabin : 2 m x 1.50 m

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailboat like DOUBLE EAGLE, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€5,250 - €10,500), making the charter cost €40,250 to €45,500. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Reviews
- Everyone was very nice and professional, went above and beyond. Thank you.
The table setting and service was beautiful. They were the most gracious hosts.
What an incredible journey it has been aboard this magnificent sailing yacht. From the moment we stepped on board we knew we were in for a treat. Mornings greeted us with lovely mouthwatering aroma of BENEBEN, as we call it (scrambled eggs) and pancakes with lotus creme and Nutella. Lovingly prepared by the talented chef Ali. The taste of these delights paired with the bright breathtaking views will forever be etched in our memory.
Vodka wellness cocktails turn the perfect touch of luxury and sipping them while watching the sunset was simply magical. And those espresso martinis, what a delightful way to cap off each evening!
We can't forget the sweet treats for our “Schleckermäulchen”, you're simply irresistible. Every bite felt like a taste of paradise. The thrill of riding the sea Bob and the wild rides on the sea-couch to the crystal-clear waters, were the highlights of our adventure. Their experiences we will cherish forever. And the game of piccolo and Busfahren brought so much laughter and camaraderie to our days and night at sea. They made this journey truly special. Our hearts swelled with admiration as we watched Mister Harpu skillfully wield his harpoon during fishing.
And let’s not forget that unforgettable crazy party in Bodrum, were we partied like there was no tomorrow and indulged in some serious fun. We may have had a bit too much to drink but the memories of that night will stay with us forever!
None of this would be possible without the 6-person crew. Our special congratulation and gratitude to this magnificent team on DOUBLE EAGLE. Even in difficult unforeseen circumstances they managed in a way that we, as guests, didn’t notice any change. Keep this team on DE! We will be back, again!
DOUBLE EAGLE was always kept in pristine shape – everything was incredibly shiny and prefect. The meals were lovely – and especially accommodating to my family with lots of different food allergies. Thank you all! Until next time!
