AURA Yacht Description
-
Seabob and Sea Scooters for 2 guests each:
Premium Seabob and two Sea Scooters provide thrilling underwater fun exploring marine life. -
Hydraulic swim platform:
Easy water access for swimming and launching toys, perfect for family water activities and relaxation. -
Wakeboard and adult water skis:
Exciting water sports gear ideal for active guests craving fun and adrenaline on the water.
First, the headline fact: AURA is a 2014 Lagoon 56 sailing catamaran, refit in 2023, wired for actual living rather than just brochure photos: flybridge lounge, hydraulic swim platform, full‑beam social spaces and enough toys to keep a ten‑guest group out of each other’s way all week.
The “why this one” setup: You get 5 ensuite cabins for up to 10 guests (4 queen + 1 twin/bunk), so no one is stuck in the penalty box cabin. The master even has direct access to the aft deck from its bathroom – wake up, step out, hit the water or the coffee, in that order or not.
Outside is the main operating system. The flybridge runs as the default HQ: shaded seating, sun pads and views that make laptops look silly. Aft, a proper dining area feeds the crowd, while the hydraulic swim platform doubles as your private beach club and toy launch pad. Forward, trampolines and daybeds take care of the “horizontal research” department.
Toys, because you’re not here to just look at the sea: Highfield tender with 50hp, seabob, multiple sea scooters (including Altives), water skis, wakeboard, tubes, SUPs, snorkelling kit and light fishing gear. Translation: if someone is bored on AURA, that’s a user error.
Hardware under the hood: Twin 110hp Yanmar engines, full‑boat air‑conditioning, generator, water maker, indoor/outdoor audio, Wi‑Fi, ice maker and a refreshed 2023 interior with updated upholstery, marble‑finish galley counters and new AV. It’s a proven Lagoon platform that’s been sensibly upgraded rather than just re‑cushioned.
Crew factor: A three‑person professional crew runs the show – captain, chef and deckhand/hostess – split crew quarters so guest privacy stays intact, and a clear bias toward actually sailing the boat rather than just idling between anchorages.
Why charter AURA instead of another 50‑something cat: flybridge + hydraulic platform + full toy list + 5 real ensuite cabins on a freshly refit Lagoon. If your brief is “modern cat that does the beach‑club lifestyle properly without going full megayacht,” this is very much in the strike zone.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a power catamaran like AURA, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€3,100 - €5,425), making the charter cost €18,600 to €20,925. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.
