CHEF – THANASIS ROUSSOS
Chef Thanasis Roussos was born in Crete, in 1973. He followed culinary seminars at "Le Cordon Bleu" in Paris before moving to Athens to complete his studies. After his training under the French Michelin-star Chef Jerome Serres at the famous "Pil Poul", he moved on to work with renowned Chef Yannis Baxevanis as well as "Kerasma", a Greek innovative campaign that focused on taking traditional Greek food and turning it into gastronomic fine-dining cuisine. He promoted Kerasma in international presentations in the U.S.A., France and Spain. Chef Thanasis became Head Chef of famous restaurants and a Professor of culinary art and theory at “IEK PRAXIS”. It was in 2013 when he entered the yacht culinary realm, which quickly grew into a passion, leeding him to gain an excellent reputation and winning the first prizes in Yacht Show culinary competitions. Chef Thanasis is a published author and culinary writter, as well as a founding member of the Chef’s Academy of Greece. He speaks excellent French and English and he never misses a chance to practice his Italian too.
FIRST MATE – KONSTANTINOS LIORIS
Konstantinos was born January 4, 1979 is single and speaks fluent English. Kostantinos holds a Certificate in Hotel Management and Tourism along with a Sailing Instructors Certificat and also the Yacht masters certificate. Kostantinos service experience on board maxi sailing yachts is since 2001 . He is also an instructor at the Piraeus Sailing Club and has participated in many sailing races. During his free time you will find Konstantinos sailing or teaching people to sail or ski.
SAILOR – SPIROS KABITSIS
Sailor Spiros was born April 24, 1983.He is married with one wonderful child and speaks fluent English. After graduating from high school, Spiros then attended and obtained diploma from the Technical Luceum and a day skipper certificate. Spiros began his working experience at sea since 2004 and in “Aristarchos” has proven that he is a great part of the team. He constantly works alongside his crew mates, ensuring that all which is needed from the persons on board are met accurately and swiftly. Spiros may be found attending to his aquarium or teaching sailing on dingy boats during his free time.
