AIZU Yacht Description
-
Rich water sports selection:
Includes waterski, wakeboard, 3 paddleboards, 2 kayaks, flyboard, and towing ring for duo fun. -
Williams tender with 90 Hp engine:
Fast and reliable tender for easy shore transfers enhancing island exploration opportunities. -
Expansive sun deck and cockpit areas:
Large outdoor spaces perfect for sunbathing, socializing, and enjoying cocktails with panoramic sea views.
First, the system override: AIZU is a 30m aluminium performance sailer with a swing/retractable keel, which means you get two yachts in one: deep‑keel stability and speed when you’re sailing, 2.2m draft access when you want that shallow anchorage everyone else has to admire from a distance.
Equal‑rights sleeping layout. AIZU sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 double cabins that are near‑identical in size and spec: all ensuite, all with individual A/C and flat‑screen entertainment. Translation: no “winner” cabin, no passive‑aggressive negotiations. Ideal for four couples or a friends’ trip where everyone actually stays friends.
Built to sail, refit to live in. Launched around 1990 by Tréhard Marine in aluminium and refitted in 2023, she runs the sweet spot between “real yacht” and “civilised living”: modern minimalist interior (American black walnut, clean lines), full air‑conditioning, Wi‑Fi, proper saloon with big lounge + dining, and large cockpit and foredeck areas that are actually usable underway, not just at anchor.
Toy‑driven charter logic. AIZU comes wired for people who don’t like being bored: Williams tender (90hp), waterskis (adults and kids), wakeboard, 3 paddleboards, tow toys, inflatable sailing dinghy, Flyboard, plus yoga‑friendly deck space and a drone to capture the “no, really, we did this” footage. Four‑person crew, including a chef with serious Mediterranean/French credentials, keeps the whole operation running like a small, floating restaurant with built‑in watersports base.
Why pick AIZU instead of another 100‑footer: because you get a true sailing yacht with high performance, shallow‑draft access, four equal double cabins, a heavy‑hitting toy list and a refit‑level interior, all in one clean, no‑drama package. If you want real sailing plus modern comfort—and you don’t want to spend your week arguing over “the good cabin”—this is the efficient answer.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailboat like AIZU, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€4,950 - €9,900), making the charter cost €37,950 to €42,900. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew
Captain: Juan Manuel Lima Finozzi
Juan Manuel grew up on the edge of the Atlantic and then spent two decades grinding through European waters, so he drives AIZU with the quiet confidence of someone who’s done the miles and earned every command decision the hard way. He turns that history into smooth, no-drama passages where guests feel the sea, not the workload behind it.
- Born and raised in Uruguay near the Atlantic Ocean
- Over 20 years of yachting career in Europe
- Experience progressing from deckhand to captain
- Has commanded classic schooners, sloops, and catamarans
Quentin treats the deck like a safety zone first and an adventure zone second, running lines, tenders, and toys with the discipline of a rescue man and the attitude of someone who actually wants you to use all the gear. He keeps the fun tight and controlled, so you can push it without wondering who’s watching the edges.
- Eight months professional experience on a catamaran in South Africa
- Regular operation of tenders for guest transfers
- Service with the NSRI (National Sea Rescue Institute) on the South African coast
Louise raids Greek markets like a pro and then plates French-Mediterranean dishes that hit clean, bright, and precise, matching the day’s pace instead of fighting it. She builds meals that feel local and refined at the same time, so every lunch and dinner lands like part of the trip, not a break from it.
- Belgian chef specialized in French cuisine with Mediterranean influence
- Experience sourcing fresh fish, fruit, and vegetables from local Greek markets
- Cooks professionally while sailing from port to port in Greece
Lizaan brings campfire-hardiness and polished service into one package, reading guests fast and resetting cabins, tables, and deck spaces so the yacht always feels ready for the next move. She threads warmth and precision together, turning small details into the reason the whole trip feels easy.
- Background in hospitality service as a professional stewardess
- Experience hosting guests in remote, outdoor and adventure-style settings
