SAMARA Yacht Description
A rare find of luxury yacht combined with sporty/ adventurous qualities which stands out head and shoulders above other monohull and catamaran hull yachts of this size. From bow to stern, guests cannot truly imagine the comfort, quality and spaciousness of SAMARA until stepping aboard. Named after the "winged seed of the Sycamore tree", this yacht was built to glide effortlessly, efficiently and steadily over long distances, in shallow waters thanks to a minimum draft. Packed with innovative features such as solar power technology and cork decks while also catering to the most adventurous or laid back cruisers, every type of guest will appreciate what this yacht has to offer. The volume is remarkable with 4000 square feet aboard – beyond that of larger monohulls and attributed to her 31’ beam versus the typical 20’.
Stepping aboard the AFT DECK, there is an extra large al fresco dining area, well sheltered (plus eisinglass enclosure optional) alongside a full barbeque grill to starboard. Enjoy a cocktail or coffee at the full bar to starboard side or just appreciate the view. Entering the MAIN SALON brings everything to life with open plan galley and bar stools to starboard and the welcoming lounge area to port. Concealed overhead is the 55" TV transforming this area for movie night or morning news while at the galley bar. There is easy access to a bayhead on this level just forward of the lounge as well. Make your way amidship forward into a cozy sunken, second lounge situated a few steps down from the main salon. A romantic fire place feature here on a blustery evening makes this lounge very inviting.
A true sanctuary on the main deck is the forward facing MASTER suite with open plan from port to starboard bringing in the gorgeous views and natural light of outdoors, inside as well. To port is the ensuite Master bathroom with double sinks featuring designer waterfall taps, private toilet and stall shower. To starboard is a walk-in wardrobe with drawers and hanging closet. Storage is ample throughout. A private glass door leads forward onto the Jacuzzi deck serving as a full Owner's deck and offers privacy with the subtle wrap around of superstructure design on both sides. Large petal-shaped loungers invited guests to relax in the sun or curl up and read a book in privacy.
Forward below deck in the port and starboard hulls guests will find the comfort of two Queen staterooms, each en suite with spacious showers, toilet and ample storage in two closets and cabinetry. Aft in the starboard hull 2-3 more guests can find accommodation in a double bed with pullman bunk, also with en suite facilities.
Moving up to the SUN DECK during the day is akin to stepping into a private garden in an exclusive villa. Two custom cabanas easily offer comfort to 3 adults each with shade as desired overhead and around. A ‘jump seat’ sunpad situated in front of the helm on this level also provides the best view from above. As the moon rises, this deck transforms to a whole new experience of its own. Whether experiencing movie night with the oversized cinema in position and popcorn machine or an elegant dinner under the stars, this is the most favored space aboard by most.
Not to forget the area where the most action occurs, the SWIM PLATFORM. A hydraulic center stage secures the wave runners when under way and once lowered, this level is the easy access deck for a variety of water activities such as diving, enjoying water toys, boarding the tender, and swim entry. Transform this area with chairs and inflatable cushions for the perfect BEACH CLUB. Each hull also offers a set of steps and a swim ladder for water access.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like SAMARA, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (€16,250 - €26,000), making the charter cost €81,250 to €91,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Grigoris runs Samara with the steady edge of a former national sailing champion, reading wind, swell, and traffic so your route through the Greek islands feels sharp, safe, and never frantic. Triantafillos hits your table with tight, flavor‑driven menus—sushi runs, Mediterranean plates, slow-cooked Greek comfort—built around how you actually eat on the water, light when you move and deep when the day slows down. He works fast under pressure and pivots hard to preferences, turning Samara’s galley into a custom restaurant that tracks your appetite, not a fixed script.

- 10+ years professional experience as chef, including yacht Kimata
- Specializes in sushi, Mediterranean cuisine, and pastry
- Shore-based background at Boracay (Glyfada) and other high-end kitchens

Reviews
our last.
Two families of four chartered this luxurious and spacious yacht for one week. We planned to depart
from Athens, travel south to the Cyclades, visit several islands, and disembark in Santorini.
We were given a very warm welcome upon boarding, with a beautifully presented light lunch and cold
champagne. We then set sail out of Athens harbor to our first anchoring point near the island of Spetses
where we enjoyed our first of seven amazing sunsets and even more amazing meals. After our first
evening, the captain informed us that the wind was picking up near the Cyclades. He said it would not
be dangerous and we could still proceed, but it would be a bumpier ride when traveling, and the water
could also be choppier when at anchor. Captain Lev was aware that we wanted to enjoy our time in the
water and use the water toys as much as possible. The Captain was very communicative from the start.
He recommended staying close by for another day to see if the wind would die down and if not, we
could modify our plans and visit islands not on the original itinerary. We put our trust in the extremely
competent Captain Lev and visited some of the most beautiful, unspoiled spots we could ever have
imagined.
Meanwhile, Tria made sure to “wow’ us daily - not only with the presentation but with the amazing
flavors of spectacular dishes prepared from fresh, delicious local produce. We have some early risers
and some late sleepers in our group but whatever time we woke up Tria and Annet were there with a
smile and an amazing variety of breakfast options. Tria also communicated with us daily making
suggestions such as a lighter lunch because of a bigger dinner, or vice versa. Our boys discovered an
octopus while spearfishing and Tria, always eager to please, dove down to show us how to properly
catch and humanely kill what would be a nice addition to our final dinner!
Christos spent lots of time ensuring that our four (20-something-year-old) “boys’ were kept busy. He
was up early every morning preparing the many water toys and cheering on the participants in their
endeavors. He was the steady arm we would lean on when getting in and out of the tender and he
would drive us back and forth to various islands no matter the time of night. Like all on board, he wore
many hats and was eager to show off his bartending abilities and mastery of the grill. Christos even
shared some of his personal food, as one night we had an amazing meal -- Kokoretsi sausage which
came from his village!
Annet kept us endlessly amazed at the beautiful table settings which changed for every meal. She took
great pride and put a lot of effort into not only setting the tables but also making most of the decorative
items on display. She kept our beautiful cabins spotless and our glasses filled. Nothing was too much
trouble.
In short, this crew worked together to ensure that our trip was one that we will remember forever. Each
one of them added a “special-something” to the week. From Captain Lev’s quiet confidence and
professionalism to Tria’s enthusiasm and obvious passion for what he does, Annet’s attention to detail
and sense of humor, and Christos’s love for and knowledge of all things Greek. We’ll never forget the
crew of the Samara or the very special week they gave us!
