SECUNDUS is the “new phone, who dis?” of 80-foot Sanlorenzos – delivered 2022, still very much in update-not-legacy mode. The headline act is the full-beam master cabin: proper volume, proper bathrooms, proper sound insulation. If you actually plan to sleep on your charter rather than just post it, this matters.
Designed inside and out by Officina Italiana Design, the boat runs a clean, modern layout for 8 guests in 4 cabins (master, VIP, two twins), with smart use of space rather than gimmicks. The spacious flybridge and foredeck seating are the two real “live here all day” zones, helped by sunpads, audio outside, and stabilizers to keep the drinks upright.
On the “do stuff, not just sit there” side, SECUNDUS carries a 3.5m ABJet tender, Jet Ski, waterskis, SUPs, donut, snorkelling and light fishing gear – basically enough toys to keep everyone busy without turning the deck into a floating rental shop. Cruising at around 20 knots and up to 30 knots, she moves fast enough that long transits don’t feel like a lifestyle choice.
