SOUNION II Yacht Description

  • 2 x Seabob S5S premium seascooters:
Top-end Seabobs offer guests thrilling underwater exploration and quiet, smooth water fun.
  • Wide variety of water toys for all ages:
Including water skis, wakeboards, paddleboards, inflatable kayak & sailing yacht—family fun guaranteed.
  • Spacious sun deck & sundeck lounges:
Perfect for cocktails, sunbathing, and romantic sea view moments in total luxury and comfort.

Start with the glitch: SOUNION II is a 1969 Benetti classic that someone refused to retire, then rebuilt for 2023 standards. You’re not getting “vintage problems”; you’re getting a pedigreed 31.6m steel Benetti with a fresh refit, long-range tanks (approx. 2,900 nm) and current-gen tech quietly wired into a timeless hull.

The real hook is the way you live on board: the master suite sits up on the upper deck with its own lounge and private outdoor area, so the principal effectively gets their own mini-ship. The remaining three en-suite cabins (VIP, double, twin) take the total to 10 guests without turning the boat into a dorm – ideal if you’re running a family party with actual adults and children, not just “8 friends and 2 regrets.”

Outside, she’s built for being used, not just photographed. Three decks of real space: shaded aft deck for civilised meals, proper foredeck and a generous upper deck with sunpads and lounge seating that actually fits a group. At anchor, the NautiBuoy swim platform bolts on to create your own floating beach, then you deploy the toys: 2 Seabobs, wakeboards, SUPs, inflatable kayak, U-tubes, waterskis and a 3.2m Geniuss tender to shuttle everyone without drama.

Onboard brain upgrade: full air‑conditioning, Peplink 5G coverage across the decks, SONOS sound system, multiple LG/Sony TVs with satellite, PlayStation 4, outdoor cinema setup and a wine preservation system for the people who notice that sort of thing. Six crew run the operation so you don’t have to negotiate with a coffee machine or an anchor.

Why charter SOUNION II instead of another 100‑footer: because this one is a genuine Benetti classic with a modern refit, an upper‑deck master that feels like a cheat code, long‑range capability, serious toy inventory and a layout that works for real families and groups, not just brochure diagrams.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a motor yacht like SOUNION II, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (€13,000 - €20,800), making the charter cost €65,000 to €72,800. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew

Captain: Stavros Kolokotronis

Stavros runs Sounion II with that stripped-down Greek sea sense, keeping this classic Benetti steady, efficient, and pointed straight at the good water and clean anchorages. He turns long-range capability into quiet, confident miles so you just watch the coast slide by.
