ESPERANCE Yacht Description

  • 2 Seabobs (premium seabob brand):
Top-tier sea scooters for thrilling underwater exploration and romantic snorkeling adventures.
  • Expansive covered flybridge (80% of roof):
Perfect social space with panoramic views, ideal for cocktails, family fun, and sunset relaxation.
  • Wide range of water toys including wakeboards & waterskis:
Fun for all ages with towable tubes plus adult and kids’ waterskis for endless water sport excitement.

ESPERANCE is a luxurious 55 ft. catamaran built by Lagoon. A model created by passionate designers for sea lovers searching for freedom. ESPERANCE features 5 cabins and accommodates 10 guests. A vessel with nothing left to chance, Lagoon has designed it in all its smallest details. You can enjoy a gentle lifestyle onboard of ESPERANCE, far from the constraints of daily life.

Start with the “terrace on the water.” ESPERANCE’s aft cockpit isn’t just a place to sit; it’s a low, open platform that drops you right to sea level, with a hydraulic swim platform and big loungers that turn swimming, boarding toys, or just dangling your feet in the water into the main event.

Then go upstairs. Around 80% of the roof is flybridge: shaded dining, bar-style seating, open sunpads, and panoramic views. If your group likes to spread out instead of pile up, this is the differentiator—ESPERANCE behaves like a much larger yacht in terms of usable outdoor space.

Inside, it’s all glass and light. Huge windows and skylights flood the saloon with natural light, so you’re not hiding in a dark box when the sun is up. The open-plan galley means your chef isn’t cooking in exile, and the social space actually works when all 10 guests are inside at once.

Sleep logistics: solved. Built in 2024, ESPERANCE is a modern 55ft Lagoon layout for 10 guests in 5 en-suite cabins—4 doubles plus 1 twin that converts to a double. That flexibility matters if your group is a shifting mix of couples, kids, and friends who may or may not want to share a bed after day three.

Toy department: not theoretical. Two Seabobs, SUPs, kayak, towable sofa, adult and kids’ waterskis, wakeboard, snorkeling kit, plus a proper tender with 60hp. If your plan involves more than “look at water,” this inventory keeps teenagers, Type‑A adults, and reluctant swimmers all occupied.

Hardware that keeps everyone functional. Full air conditioning, Wi‑Fi, indoor sound system, smart TV, and a watermaker mean long hot showers don’t trigger a resource-management meeting. This is the quiet backbone of a low-friction week on board.

Human layer: a crew of three who actually do this for a living. A professional captain with serious charter mileage, a dedicated deckhand/stew, and a chef running a focused, modern Mediterranean menu (with special diets possible) turn the platform into an experience. You’re not renting a boat; you’re outsourcing the whole week’s logistics to a team whose job is making 10 people comfortable in a floating house.

In short: if your priority is space, real water access, modern toys, and a flexible 10-guest cabin plan on a brand-new 2024 cat, ESPERANCE ticks the boxes without pretending to be a nightclub or a palace. It’s a smart, efficient charter choice that’s genuinely built around how people actually use a yacht for a week.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailing catamaran like ESPERANCE, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€4,400 - €7,700), making the charter cost €26,400 to €29,700. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Dear Nikos, Despina and Gregory,
You made this the trip of a lifetime!!! We know the islands and the sea journey would be fantastic, but we never imagined that the real treasure was on-board. You made the trip so special by being the awesome person you are. Nikos, your sailing and flexibility with the course were supurb. Despina, you need to publish a cookbook because your meals were 10x better than the restaurants. Gregory, you were ever present to take care of everyone's needs, and you are wise way beyond your years. Wishing you the best. We loved hanging out with you.
Love, Georgia and Bud.

Dear Nikos, Despina, and Gregory,
You were fantastic! The three of you were the heart of the trip, fun, professional, great team and made a family of all of us for a week. Great! The sailing was superb. Wehad a great variety of stops and saw more than i had expected. Juliette also loved the shopping! The catamaran was perfect for the 8 of us, plenty of space and you all made everything look so easy. Oh, and the meals, incredible spreads at every meal on board.
Many, many thanks for such a memorable trip and for making us so welcome.
Love, Ian & Juliette

Dear Captain Nick, Despina & Gregory,
What a fantastic trip! All thanks to you. We could not have asked for a better crew. Obviously the boat is fantastic, but the crew made the voyage. Excellent "sugobloms" from Captain Nick (which we soon learn to accept), always led to successful and enjoyable days, outstanding food and drink, making us miss the boat everytime we went out to eat. Attentive and always friendly support from Greg, and so much patience! Loved everything!
Thank you for a wondreful trip!
Steve & Helena

Dear Nick, Despina and Gregory,
This was the most amazing week. The Esperance is a great Cat, and you all made it even better. Great food, great navigation, and great service. Everything exceded expectations. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Dear Nikos, Despina, and Gregory,
Beth, Bill, Bam and I had the best time ever.
Beth and Bill had raved about the experience as this was their second trip with Nikos, but one can't appreciate the words as much as the experience. Nikos, Des and Gregory couldn't have been more kind, attentive, and generous in spirit and service. They anticipated our needs and needs we didn't even know we had! We can't say enough wonderful things about the three of them and how they will all be friends for life. The boat was fantastic and met every need. We took so many naps, watched movies, played in the water, etc. We hope to find a way to do this again and again, it is simply the BEST!
We love you Nikos, Des and Gregory! Thanks again for everything and please visit us in Califronia!

Where do we start? Charter number 2 on board the amazing Esperance. What makes it amazing, apart from being a beautiful, well equipped yacht, is the fabulous crew, Gregory, Despoina, and Captain Nick!
From the Ionians to the Saronic Gulf, what a trip! Meganisi and Kefalonia,to Nafpaktos under the Rio-Antirrio Bridge, through the Corinth Canal (what an experience!) on to Poros, Spetses and the busy but picturesque port of Hydra.
We sailed, we ate, we drank (mastika), we swam, snorkelled, wake boarded, jobe seat, spearfished, poor octopus! and how can we forget, seabobs!!!
Nothing has been too much trouble. Despina, an angel in the kitchen and the food was delicious. Gregory, hard working and always on hand to please, with our many requests. Captain Nick, there no words! Amazing!
Thank you all for a truly special holiday!
Same time next year?

To the crew of Esperance..
When 40 knot winds threatened our trip in the Cyclades , Captain Nikolas recommended a change to the Saronic, ALWAYS TRUST THE CAPTAIN!
We had an absolutely perfect trip! While the rest of the Aegean was being wind whipped, he found us flat coves, crystal clear waters and picturesque towns. We shopped , we swam, we ate, we drank and created beautiful memories with our friends. We can ask for nothing more. To Angie, you cook from your heart and it shows! Thank you for showing us the best of Greek cuisine (No thank you that my pants are now a little tight). Special thanks for the extra 200 kilos of watermelon and yogurt. To Gregory.. your work ethic is so impressive and your kindness can be seen with every smile to the guests. You will make a wonderful captain one day. And to Captain Nikolas, you have truly been our favorite captain in the dozens we have taken around the world. You are professional but don't take yourself too seriously. You care deeply about the experience of everyone on board, from moving fans, to shaking coctails, to crazy good dj skills, you seem to know what we wanted before we even asked!
