Core upload to your sensory system: BLACK LION is a 30m Perini Navi performance sloop that was hard‑patched in 2025 with a new teak deck, a LORIMA carbon composite mast and fresh paint – so you’re not booking “vintage charm”, you’re booking a tuned, modern sailing machine that just happens to sleep up to 9 guests in 4 cabins.
Outside is where the code really runs. You get a big, clean cockpit purposely kept free of lines and winches for safe, civilised living – proper alfresco dining plus serious sunpad territory – while all the business end of the sailing (dual helms, carbon rig, titanium deck hardware) sits aft, where you can watch it in action or ignore it with a book. At anchor, the fold‑down transom turns into a mini beach club and launch pad for the toys: waterskis, wakeboard, kneeboard, 2‑person inflatable kayak and inflatables, all backed by a 4.3m BSC tender.
Inside: minimalism with actual function. Nauta Yachts’ interior doesn’t try to be a hotel lobby – it’s a light, beach‑toned, double‑level salon designed so a real group of 8–9 people can eat, lounge and watch a movie without stacking. Forward, there’s a dedicated cinema/AV and office space; below, a practical guest layout (master plus mix of twin/double cabins, including a Pullman) gives families and adult groups flexible sleeping without drama.
Why charter BLACK LION instead of another 100‑footer: because this one actually sails, comfortably, in real wind, with low fuel burn when you do need the Cummins. You get a performance‑oriented carbon rig, a recently refit platform, a beach‑club stern, a full modern AV/Wi‑Fi setup and a tight crew of four led by an Ocean‑certified skipper and a chef with Michelin‑level background. Translation: serious sailing, civilised comfort, no floating-condo latency.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailboat like BLACK LION, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€7,500 - €15,000), making the charter cost €57,500 to €65,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew
Captain: Alexandros Gkouveris
Alexandros drives BLACK LION like a captain who has worn out charts of the Aegean, reading wind shifts fast so your route bends around quiet coves, clean beats, and safe, sharp passages. He tunes each day to how hard you want to sail or how slow you want to drift, without ever losing control of the boat or the schedule.

- Studied Interior Architecture at AUL University
- Certified under the IAMI GUEST service program
- Experience as both steward and deckhand
- Active kitesurfer and snowboarder with skills in photography and videography
