AZUL Yacht Description
-
Seabob iAqua Dart Nano 720 Xtreme:
Premium seabob brand offers thrilling underwater fun, perfect for guests exploring marine life and water play. -
Twin Seascooters (premium sea scooters):
Premium quality sea scooters enhance water adventures; a rare treat on catamarans for all skill levels. -
Expansive swim platform and hydraulic swim steps:
Wide swim platform ideal for easy water access, launching toys, and relaxed days lounging with cocktails.
Primary feature unlocked: AZUL is a 2023 Lagoon 55 with a full‑beam “terrace on the water” stern setup and a flybridge you’ll actually use. Translation: big hydraulic swim platform + wide transoms for living at sea level, then a proper upstairs deck for shade, sunpads and long lunches while someone else worries about the sails.
Space, not just length. Designed for 8 guests in 4 double, fully air‑conditioned ensuite cabins, AZUL feels more like a floating modern apartment than a typical 55ft boat. Huge windows and skylights throw natural light into the saloon and cabins, so you don’t spend a week in cave mode.
Serious toys, zero boredom. The hardware list is aimed at people who don’t just “like the sea view”: Highfield CL 420 tender with 60hp, Seabob, two seascooters, SUPs, wakeboard, adult water skis, towable tubes, snorkel and fishing kit, plus optional dive tanks and compressor for certified divers. If you want to sit still, that’s a choice, not a limitation.
Crew and food are not an afterthought. A crew of three runs AZUL, and the galley is not just decorative: the chef holds a MEDYS 2025 Chefs’ Competition 2nd Place title. The result is restaurant‑level, locally driven menus without leaving the boat, backed by a service team that knows the boat and has already done multiple seasons together.
Why pick AZUL over another 50‑something cat: you get a virtually brand‑new 2023 Lagoon 55 with high‑volume deck spaces, a real flybridge, a liveable “feet‑in‑the‑water” stern area, a proven water‑toy arsenal and an award‑winning chef, all scaled exactly to an 8‑guest private group instead of a floating crowd experiment.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailing catamaran like AZUL, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€4,000 - €7,000), making the charter cost €24,000 to €27,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew
Captain: Jean Marc Bayle
Alex runs AZUL with a calm, methodical edge, threading her through the Greek islands like he’s walked every bay on foot and knows exactly where your best swim, sunset, and night anchor are hiding. He keeps the mood easy but the operation tight, and if you want to learn, he hands you real helm time, not a token spin.
- MBA completed in Switzerland in 2008
- Extensive catamaran delivery experience from France and England
- Has crossed the Atlantic Ocean under sail
- Speaks English and Romanian
Ian treats AZUL’s galley like a sharp little test kitchen, turning local Greek produce into clean, confident plates that line up with the sea around you—light when you’re chasing coves, deeper when the anchor is down and the night slows. He doesn’t just feed you; he runs a quiet, rolling tasting tour of the Med every day.
- Born in Germany in 1975
- Graduate of Hospitality, Catering & Culinary School
- Seminars completed in Asian and European cuisine, plate presentation, and desserts
- Head and Executive Chef roles in Germany, Taiwan, London, and Dubai
Melina moves through AZUL’s decks fast and quiet, flipping cabins, trays, and lines so the boat feels always set, always ready, never busy in front of you. She reads the energy on board—families, friends, or couples—and tunes the service so the trip runs smooth without you ever seeing the work.
- Born in Germany
- Background in restaurant service before yachting
- Yachting experience as deckhand and stewardess on 39–52 ft yachts
- Speaks German and English

Reviews
You guys were the centre of an amazing service. The beautiful mornings with an outstanding breakfast, the coffee and the fresh fruit.
But also your professional attitude has been so impressive.
The service of tidying the bedroom so neat, the fresh clean Azul has been a present to us. ♡
You are a wonderful crew, kind, well organised, enjoyable to be around, or in Dutch ‘gezellig’.
Among the many food highlights were shakshuka, fish balls, and the radish tzatziki. Fiskardo is one of the prettiest villages we’ve seen in a long time.
We also loved having the great Italian food at Onore in Syvota.
All in all, this was a fantastic week!
We spent 7 days on azul enjoying a family vacation ! Our time on Azul was absolutely fantastic, and this was largely because of you! The great hospitality – amazing meals , beautiful turns and beaches really make it an unforgettable week for us! Thank you very much!
