Advertised by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht AZUL is a 55 ft sailing catamaran. The primary distinction of AZUL are her generous space and interconnection with the sea. AZUL spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was delivered by the ship builder Lagoon in 2023. The spacious yacht layout features 4 generous cabins and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.
AZUL is presented primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the core layout is spread out from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck features a variety of seating areas and that's where most of the delicious meals are served. The tastefully decorated cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. The cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. Multiple portholes offer desirable views, while providing privacy if needed.
The sailboat features ENGINES: 2x NANNI 115hp GENERATORS: 17 KWA engines .

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailing catamaran like AZUL, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€4,000 - €7,000), making the charter cost €24,000 to €27,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Alex runs Azul with calm, tactical focus, using hard-earned delivery miles and island know‑how to thread you into quiet coves while everyone else crowds the charts. He keeps the mood easy, lets you breathe, and if you want to learn, he hands you the wheel and makes it real.
- MBA completed in Switzerland in 2008.
- Extensive catamaran delivery experience, including passages from France and England and a full Atlantic crossing.
- Specializes in crafting sailing holidays around lesser‑known anchorages in the Greek islands.
- Speaks English and Romanian; 2nd year serving as captain on Azul.
Ian turns local Greek produce into sharp, honest plates built from high‑end hotel and restaurant discipline, so every meal lands like a highlight, not a filler between swims. He moves fast, listens hard to what you like, and lets the food carry the story of the islands.
- Born in 1975 in Germany; graduate of Hospitality, Catering & Culinary School as a chef.
- Completed multiple seminars in Asian and European cuisine, plate presentation, and desserts.
- Former head and executive chef in restaurants and hotels in Germany, Taiwan, London, and Dubai.
- 2nd year as chef on Azul; speaks German, English, and Greek, and enjoys windsurfing and kayaking.
Melina runs the deck and the interior with quiet precision, flipping from lines to latte without dropping the thread, so your days feel seamless and dialed‑in instead of staged. She reads the vibe fast and keeps service light, clean, and human.
- Born in Germany with strong restaurant service background.
- Yachting experience as deckhand and stewardess on multiple yachts from 39 to 52 feet.
- Joined the Azul team after several seasons in the yachting industry.
- Practices yoga and freediving; speaks German and English.

Among the many food highlights were shakshuka, fish balls, and the radish tzatziki. Fiskardo is one of the prettiest villages we’ve seen in a long time.
We also loved having the great Italian food at Onore in Syvota.
All in all, this was a fantastic week!
We spent 7 days on azul enjoying a family vacation ! Our time on Azul was absolutely fantastic, and this was largely because of you! The great hospitality – amazing meals , beautiful turns and beaches really make it an unforgettable week for us! Thank you very much!
