AMADEUS Yacht Description

  • Splash Pool on Deck:
Perfect for family fun and luxury relaxation while enjoying sea views in warm Mediterranean climates.
  • Comprehensive Water Sports Collection:
Includes adult and kids water skis, mono ski, wakeboard, tubes, inflatable kayaks, and paddleboards for endless water fun.
  • 2018 Nuvorania 4.60m Tender with 75hp Outboard:
Reliable and fast tender for shore excursions, ideal for exploring islands with ease and style.

Start with the non-negotiable headline: AMADEUS is one of the very few 33.5m sailing yachts that gives you a foredeck splash pool plus five double-bedded cabins. If your group wants both a proper sailboat and something to flop into that looks suspiciously like a tiny pool, this is your short list.

Deck life is the main operating system. The teak deck is wide, uncluttered and actually usable: foredeck splash pool and sunbathing zone, then a big outdoor saloon aft with two dining tables for up to 12, bar, and weather-protected canopy with roll-up sides. Translation: everyone can eat outside, all at once, in real chairs, whether it’s blazing sun or sideways rain.

The sleeping architecture is built for real groups, not brochure families. AMADEUS sleeps up to 10–12 guests in 5 cabins, including a full‑beam master and, crucially, five double beds with aft cabins that convert to twins. Couples, friends, families, nobody gets sentenced to the odd bunk – this flexibility is what makes her unusually easy to book for mixed groups.

Refit story, not museum piece. Launched 1996, she’s had repeated upgrades (notably 2014 and 2018–2020): full repaint, new BSI rigging, “North Sails”, new exterior and interior fabrics, refreshed entertainment kit, and a crew that runs her full time, not just “when someone books”. You get the classic navy-blue hull look without the “vintage systems” experience.

toys and tech: enough to keep everyone busy. A 2018 Novurania 4.6m tender with 75hp outboard, splash pool, SUPs, kayak, water-skis (adult & kids), mono-ski, wakeboard, tubes, snorkelling kit and fishing gear cover the wet side. Indoors you get full A/C, Wi‑Fi, 40" TV, Xbox, PlayStation, Bluetooth audio and AV in all cabins – basically, analog sailing with digital distractions on demand.

Why charter AMADEUS instead of another 110’ sailboat: because she’s one of the rare sailing yachts that combines a real on-deck pool feel, a genuinely social outdoor dining setup, five double-bedded cabins for 10–12 guests, and a long-running, stable crew who actually know the boat. If your brief is “we want to really sail, but nobody wants to rough it,” this is exactly that compromise, already engineered.

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailboat like AMADEUS, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€5,250 - €10,500), making the charter cost €40,250 to €45,500. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew

Crew of AMADEUS|Chief Stewardess Chief Stewardess

Crew of AMADEUS|Engineer Engineer

Captain: Harry Fotopoulos

Harry drives Amadeus with airline-level discipline and island pilot instincts, threading you through the Greek archipelago with routes that feel bold to you and routine to him. He runs a tight, calm bridge so guests feel the adventure without ever feeling the risk.

  • Graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy with Captain Class A Diploma
  • Holds Canadian Commercial Pilot License Class B, sailing and speedboat licenses
  • Over 15 years of experience on charter yachts and ocean-going vessels
  • Certified in GMDSS, Fire Fighting & First Aid, Personal Safety, Life Saving, and Ship Security

Mirella runs the interior like a quiet operation that never stumbles, flipping cabins and tables so smoothly you just feel a steady flow of comfort following you around the boat. She reads groups fast and tunes service from low-key to dialed-up without needing instructions.

  • Over 8 years’ experience as stewardess on charter and private yachts
  • Eight consecutive seasons serving aboard S/Y Amadeus
  • Fluent in English

Stelios keeps the machinery locked in and predictable, so you get cool cabins, hot water, and quiet miles without ever seeing the work behind it. He treats every passage like a systems drill, checking and tweaking before anything can interrupt your day.

  • Engineer Class B Diploma from Greek Merchant Marine Academy
  • Over 15 years at sea on ocean-going vessels and charter yachts
  • Holds Sailor’s License
  • Speaks good English; experienced spearfisherman and sailor

George builds meals that track the rhythm of the cruise—light when you’re chasing bays, layered and indulgent when the night stretches—so eating on board feels like part of the route, not a pause in it. He pulls Mediterranean flavors tight and clean, not fussy.

  • Over 20 years of professional chef experience
  • Background across hotels, restaurants, mega yachts, and resorts
  • Specializes in Mediterranean cuisine tailored to guest preferences
  • Fluent in Greek and excellent English

Maria moves fast in the background, resetting cabins and common spaces so the yacht always looks freshly staged without you ever seeing the reset. She brings friendly, open energy that makes families and first-time charterers relax quickly.

  • In the yachting industry since 2019
  • Previous experience as housekeeper and assistant stewardess (2+ years)
  • Speaks good English

Konstantinos works the decks and lines so arrivals, swims, and toy launches stay clean and controlled, letting you step on and off the water without hesitation. He backs up the captain on the outside game, keeping the yacht tight and ready.

  • Serving as deckhand aboard S/Y Amadeus
  • Trained in deck operations and guest assistance (lines, tendering, water toys)

Nikos is the guy who has the toys in the water, the anchor set, and the tender waiting right when you’re ready, turning each stop into a quick-switch operation instead of a delay. He brings easygoing energy on deck but runs the safety side hard.

  • Over 7 years’ experience on various charter yachts
  • Holds speedboat license and safety certificates
  • Speaks Greek and English

Chief Stewardess Mirella David Mirella keeps the guest areas crisp and choreographed, turning service, turndowns, and table setups into one smooth sequence that lets you drift through the day without friction. She locks onto preferences early and keeps delivering without needing to be reminded.

  • Chief stewardess aboard S/Y Amadeus
  • Over 8 years’ professional yachting hospitality experience
  • Fluent in English

Engineer Amadeus The engineer rides below deck, watching gauges and generators like a hawk so guests ride in cool, quiet comfort with zero technical drama on the surface. He treats every system as mission gear, not décor, and keeps it that way.

  • Engineer aboard S/Y Amadeus
  • Responsible for propulsion, power generation, and onboard technical systems
