ACAPELLA Yacht Description
-
2 x SeaBobs:
Premium Seabobs offer thrilling underwater fun, perfect for guests wanting excitement and water time. -
Spacious sundeck Jacuzzi:
Relax in the deck Jacuzzi with views, ideal for romantic moments or luxury unwind time. -
11m powerful tender (2 x 450 hp Mercury):
Large tender carries all 12 guests for island exploration, water sports towing & effortless shore access.
ACAPELLA is basically a 160ft sailing hotel with three full‑beam master suites and a rooftop hot tub. If you’re trying to keep multiple “VIPs” equally happy, this solves it: 3 king, full‑beam masters plus two large double+single cabins, all with ensuite and full controls, for up to 12 guests.
On top, the sundeck is the command center of doing nothing properly: big circular deck Jacuzzi, curved bar, sunpads and open space that flips between yoga studio, party deck and sun‑worship zone. Below, a bright, minimalist interior by Salt & Water Studio runs on clean lines, large windows and calm materials – more “quiet boutique hotel” than pirate cosplay.
The hardware is unapologetically practical: launched 2021, refit 2023, steel hull for real sea days, 11m custom tender with 450hp for serious shore raids, and a toy stack that includes 2 Seabobs, SUPs, skis, wakeboard, towables and a full side swim platform to launch the chaos from.
Software matters more than hardware: ACAPELLA is run by the Gluncic family, with about a century of sailing DNA, and backed by a crew of 9 including a Michelin‑trained chef. Translation: you get old‑school seamanship, modern service, and dinner menus that read like somebody actually tried.
If you need: multiple real master cabins, a working sundeck with hot tub, serious tender and toys, recent build, and a crew that’s been doing this long before Instagram discovered yachts, ACAPELLA is the rational choice disguised as a pleasure machine.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailboat like ACAPELLA, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€13,200 - €26,400), making the charter cost €101,200 to €114,400. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Reviews
"ACAPELLA was in excellent condition! The yacht was spotless and elegant, and the crew was extremely welcoming, friendly, and professional. They were always attentive, smiling, and caring, clearly a great team. I loved the way the yacht offers both social and relaxing spaces, especially the flybridge and bow area. The neutral interior colors and spacious saloon make it comfortable even in bad weather. Cruising on ACAPELLA felt very smooth, and everything looked perfectly maintained. I would definitely recommend her to clients and brokers alike."
"ACAPELLA looked immaculate, even better than I expected. The crew were lovely, friendly, and professional, and they all spoke excellent English. Service was attentive, calm, and fast, and the overall atmosphere on board was wonderful. I especially liked the three master cabins, the jacuzzi, and the thoughtful service setup. The chef’s food was fantastic, and I appreciated that he came out to introduce each dish and talk with us. It was an amazing experience overall, and I hope to send more clients on board ACAPELLA in the future."
"ACAPELLA is in excellent condition and has a light-flooded interior that feels bright and welcoming. The crew was incredibly kind, happy, and attentive. They noticed my routine very quickly and were always spot on. The chef was amazing and presented each dish beautifully, and the captain’s deep knowledge of sailing was impressive. I also think the housekeeping team did a wonderful job with turn-ups and turn-downs. The crew was all so sweet and professional, and I would gladly recommend ACAPELLA to clients and other brokers."
"ACAPELLA was immaculate, both the vessel and crew were presented perfectly. The service was attentive when needed and discreet when not, and the entire team was engaging yet humble, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She was very steady underway, and even the plumbing and sound insulation were excellent. The chef was open to ideas and happy to adapt menus daily, which I loved. ACAPELLA is truly a pleasure to be on. It’s a no-brainer to recommend her. I know Niksa and his team will provide a wonderful trip for anyone who steps aboard."
"The dedication and attention to detail that Niksa and his crew put into ACAPELLA are immediately clear. She absolutely shines. I loved that they chose not to cram in a sixth cabin, allowing for a huge VIP suite and equally spacious guest cabins. I would have loved to see her under sail. She must look beautiful. ACAPELLA really punches above her weight in every way, with an exceptional crew and presentation throughout."
To our new family… Acapella captain Niksa and the incredible crew, Mahalo all around for taking us into your arms with the most exceptional care and love! To the most incredible chartered yacht: ACAPELLA. What can we say... We have had the most incredible week on Acapella with the bestest team. The attention you brought to us, in every single detail, let us sit back and relax. Every time one would ask for something, we would have it in the next ten. Captain, you definitely have the bestest team. The service on board is better than a 5-star hotel. The Chef made us the most delicious dishes and would make us what we wanted to eat when we wanted. Tom, Mat and Steve always reacted in a second when asked to go water-skiing, or “Can we have the black curtain taken off?!” Tommy was there for our safety and made sure that big anchor was stable. We wish him and his baby Leo the bestest luck for the upcoming heart operation. Ivan, Gaby and Anna—none of this would have been possible without you. You go far and beyond for your guests, always with a huge smile. Now I have kept the last for the best… Captain, your boat is a gem. Seeing how you constructed it, piece by piece, year after year, with a true passion.
Dear Acapella crew, 16 July 2025
Over the past ten days, all 12 of us feel like we have become part of your family. After our 2022 voyage, we never thought we could top that experience—but we did!! Your entire crew made our experience wonderful and priceless. You shared our laughs, you made us laugh even more, and we leave as happy as any one of us can imagine.
The boat, ports, water—everything was perfect. The meals, every single one, were fit for the best critics. What a great chef. Every time we moved about, it seemed like our rooms were made perfect again. Karaoke and movie nights were so much fun. The bar was perfect. Not a single request went unmet, and the wines were heavenly. We could not imagine a more relaxing, fun, and soul-soothing holiday. You have a very special family and crew.
Summer 2025
With your father and brother —
Every detail was thought of. The best part of the boat is visiting the engine room—and what an engine room! One could sleep on the floor, it is spotless! You have brought us to the most incredible spots with the best views.
We leave very relaxed, a full stomach, clean clothes, full of memories for life, but somehow a little sad to leave Acapella and its BEST Team —
LONG LIVE TO ACAPELLA!
With all our love,
Guy, Caroline, Thomas, Gabriella, Nicolas, Elinore and Hugo

We should’ve never got dinner reservations in the city because your food was the best! The lobster you made was the best lobster I have ever had, and the desserts were to die for.
To all you guys, thank you for your great hospitality. This week flew by and that is truly because of all of you. The Acapella is like a 5-Star Hotel—but on water. I hope we all get to cross paths again, and I’m beyond grateful for each one of you.
To the crew of the Acapella, thank you so much for the most incredible week. Exploring Croatia this way for the first time was a dream come true. From the amazing food to the great drinks, the noise setups, and Lannade (my favorite), this has been so much fun. The Boat/amenities
what we loved about the boat was the layout and it's expansiveness, and how thoughtfully every detail was considered for guests. It was the most quiet and solid boat we've ever been on, there was very little rocking even on windy or stormy days. The layout of the boat was very accommodating for a party of our size-- many boats don't have a lot of uncovered deck space, to hang out; we really loved the top level where there was room to lay out, everyone enjoyed the hottub and we also love the front area where we watched movies at night, or had a quiet space to be away from a crowd if you wanted to be. And of course enjoyed the dining area where we had our meals and played lots of games. Also, it was the first boat we've chartered/been on where we actually made use of the interior salon-- it actually felt like a natural extension of the exterior. We all felt like we had lots of room for our things as well as for ourselves-- we never felt crowded. We also loved the toys- we made good use of the seabobs and paddle boards every day, and also we got in some wakeboarding and waterskiing.
The Crew:
The crew was very professional and always attuned to our needs. We also felt in very good hands from a navigation and safety perspective in all circumstances. Captain Niksa's knowledge of the all cruising areas (from the best places to anchor, to spend the night and have the best views, to where to go for lunch, to which areas to avoid (like for jellyfish for example) added to the overall joy of the trip! Niksa was also on top of the weather-- he was prepared in advance for every contingency. His workmanship and care for his boat and crew were evident in all his actions. The crew were very pleasant, responsive, and attentive without being intrusive. Our cabins were spotless, laundry was perfectly done without incident. We all loved the laundry detergent it smelled so good!
Areas Cruised: Thumbs up to areas cruised. We had a mix of smaller and bigger islands, with visits to quaint little towns. Again, Captain Niksa's knowledge of these areas, and where to go, where to eat off the boat etc.-- all great.
Food:
Breakfasts were a nice mix of yogurts, croissants/breads, prosciutto, fruit platters, jams and local honeys, local specialties, your choice of eggs as you liked, and generally pancakes or waffles. Breakfasts were a universal thumbs up.
Lunches: always a mix of grilled fish and some kind of meat, along with green salad and another salad of couscous or quinoa and vegetables and a dessert. We loved the chef's salad dressings, and his desserts were a huge hit. The fish was always fresh and simply prepared (which we liked). One day we had tuna poke bowls (or chicken if you didn't like fish), and that was a huge hit with everyone.
Dinners: again, we liked to eat simply prepared fishes/meats, with vegetables /salads. Most meals we ate family style as we liked, and finished off with delicious desserts.
We loved every minute on Acapella, and have already recommended the boat to our friends…
What made the trip so special was not only the boat itself -- great boat for a group of mixed ages-- something for everyone -- but the crew, and the charming and endearing Captain Niksa.
“ACAPELLA was no doubt the star of the fleet, and one of the nicest looking yachts based in Croatia. She has beautiful lines and a good charter layout, and is full of clever additions and features, having clearly been built by an experienced owner with guest comfort in mind. Captain Niksa is the perfect charter captain – passing on his charm, confidence and passion to the rest of the crew as well, making for a great atmosphere onboard. The crew are all efficient, welcoming and pleasant and clearly know the area very well and are keen to share this with guests. Whether exploring with the (very comfortable) tender or enjoying local products expertly cooked by chef Tihomir, we were extremely well looked after, and will highly recommend the yacht.”
“ACAPELLA is exactly what our clients are looking for at this level and the crew’s enthusiasm, professionalism and charism is a huge selling point. The yacht is super spacious and comfortable, and the crew’s local knowledge of the area is fabulous. I would have no reservations about putting my clients onboard or recommending to other charter brokers. Top Yacht, Crew and Chef!!
