Major refit in 2023-2024.
ABILITY is one of my favorite interiors in the show this year, mainly because of the fantastic merge of a classic design with shiny burl wood and white fabrics and bold contemporary art.

Introduced by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht ABILITY is a 138 ft motor yacht featuring a jetski. The most appealing features of ABILITY are her most appealing features and inviting socializing areas. ABILITY spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was delivered by the well-known ship builder Codecasa in 2007. A well-done refit was fulfilled in 2023. The well-planned yacht layout features 5 large cabins and easily accommodates up to 11 guests.

ABILITY is classified as a superyacht. The key part of the yacht, generously sized aft deck, elegantly connects to the meticulously composed main saloon. The main saloon is a gathering space to spend time when the aft deck might not be as desirable (at port, private conversations) and offers a range of entertainment options.

5 comfortable cabins are laid out to allow for comfortable access and private setting.

The motor yacht features Engines: 3 x 2400 HP / 1790 kW MTU. Model: 16V 2000 M93 diesel Generators: 2 KOHLER CO-WISCONSIN 70EFOZ, 2006 Consumption: 200 lit/pd engines .

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a motor yacht like ABILITY, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (€27,500 - €44,000), making the charter cost €137,500 to €154,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Captain Theo runs ABILITY like a precision tool, threading her through the Greek islands with the calm of someone who has seen every kind of sea and lived to tell it twice. He blends commercial-ship discipline with charter instincts, so guests get hard-edged safety and soft-edged freedom at the same time.

Over 30 years maritime experience, beginning in 1991 on cruise ships.
Master Unlimited license with background in both commercial and yacht sectors.
Luxury yachting since 1996, including M/Y Ghost III, M/Y Lucky Me, M/Y Alma, S/Y Maltese Falcon.
Has navigated vessels of varied size and complexity across multiple oceans.

Thanos keeps the three MTUs and every hidden system running tight, so guests feel nothing but smooth power and cold air while he sweats the details below deck. He treats the yacht like a living engine room, always tuned, never guessing.

Holds Class A Engineer diploma with full certification set.
At sea since 2010 on commercial vessels, progressing to chief engineer by 2015.
Joined M/Y ABILITY in 2023 from yachts including M/Y Serenity and M/Y Ocean Dream.
Fluent in Greek, English, and Italian; active in marine conservation efforts.

Rene runs the galley like a compact battlefield, firing out sharp, clean flavors from Asia to the Med that hit the table fast and precise. He reads the guests early, then dials the menu to match them course by course, day after day.

Professional range from Asian, Japanese and Filipino to Italian, Greek, Mediterranean, Mexican and pastry.
Multiple competition wins at the EMMYs (Poros International Yacht Show).

Kalliopi runs the interior like a tight circuit, reading the room in one glance and flipping service from laid‑back beach day to white‑glove dinner without missing a beat. She keeps the boat quiet, ordered, and always two steps ahead of what guests haven’t asked for yet.

Yachting career started in 2018 on 30–50m charter and private motor yachts.
Experience across service, silver service, housekeeping, and interior team leadership.
Holds safety and survival certifications plus Silver Star Guest I hospitality training.
Degree in Environmental and Chemical Engineering; fluent in Greek and English.

Katia moves fast and quiet through cabins and decks, keeping everything reset and ready so guests step into fresh spaces every time. She switches from cabins to bar to service without friction, keeping the flow clean when the schedule gets messy.

Hands-on stewardess experience on private and commercial yachts up to 50m.
Background in hospitality and passenger vessels with focus on guest service and housekeeping.
Holds STCW Basic Training, Passenger Ship Safety and Ship Security Awareness.
Currently advancing maritime studies in navigation; fluent Greek and good English.

Anton runs the deck like a clean machine, lining up lines, tenders, and toys so guests slide from dock to anchorage to play time without a hitch. He’s the one you don’t notice until the wind picks up and everything still feels easy.

Background as Relief Chief Officer and Bosun on private and charter yachts up to 37m.
Merchant navy experience covering deck operations, mooring, anchoring and navigational support.
Certified in GMDSS, Advanced Firefighting, Survival Craft & Rescue Boats, Radar & ECDIS, and RYA Powerboat.
Currently completing Yachtmaster Offshore; fluent in Ukrainian and Russian, working English and Greek.

Dionysis is the extra pair of hands on deck that never seems to run out of energy, jumping from lines to toys to guest assistance without dropping pace. He brings shore-side discipline and media-trained eyes to the job, so he notices what needs doing before it becomes noise.

Holds Seaman's Book with STCW Basic certification.
Background as storekeeper, seller, shift manager and reporter before yachting.
Graduate of private institute “Akmi” with a degree in Journalism.
Fluent in Greek with strong English; holds B driving license.

A dedicated additional deckhand position is reserved to keep guest service tight on busy weeks and toy operations running fast when the pace goes up. Details will be confirmed closer to embarkation to match the season’s workload.
