Start with the main plot twist: AMIGOS is a 55m Amels with an oversized sun deck built around a 4m counter‑current pool, deck jacuzzi and outdoor cinema. This is not “a few sunpads and a bar”; this is the deck where your charter actually happens – swim against the current, eat off the teppanyaki/BBQ, then run a movie night under the stars without going inside once.
Second glitch in the matrix: the private owner’s deck. The full‑beam master sits up on the bridge deck with its own 180‑degree terrace, so you get your own outdoor living zone while the rest of the group spreads out on the other two decks. Add a VIP with its own fold‑down balcony plus folding balconies in the main salon, and AMIGOS starts behaving less like a 55m and more like a small, private resort with multiple “front rows” to the sea.
Below the waterline of marketing fluff: launched in 2017 and refit in 2024, AMIGOS sleeps 12 guests in 6 cabins with a crew of 13, runs a full beach club with Hammam/steam room and gym, and carries a serious toy locker: Jet Skis, Seabobs, wakeboards, inflatable jungle gym, trampoline, floating pool with jellyfish net and an 11.3m Intrepid chase tender. Translation: the yacht is big enough, young enough and kitted‑out enough that no one on board gets bored – including the adults pretending the toys are “for the kids.”
