Siyu Yacht Description
Renowned for its generous deck spaces and unrivaled outdoor living, SIYU is the ideal gullet for a relaxed yacht charter around the coastline of Turkey or the Greek Islands.
Built in 2006 and fully refitted in 2023, SIYU offers accommodation for up to eight guests in four staterooms comprising a master suite, one double, and two twin cabins. The professional crew of four will ensure the comfort of the guests on board with delicious food from the gourmet chef, wines and cocktails served all day long.
SIYU comfortably cruises at 10 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 14 knots under sails. Her shallow draft allows for anchoring close to the beach and cruising next to the shorelines. Equipped with a good selection of water toys like water skis, wakeboards, kayaks, snorkeling, and fishing gear, SIYU also has a large tender to transfer guests to shore or to enjoy the water sports.
Introduced by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht Siyu is a 88 ft sailboat. The highlights of Siyu are her most appealing features and inviting socializing areas. Siyu spends the summer season in Greece. She was completed by the renowned boatbuilder Mengi-Yay Tuzla in 2006. A comprehensive refit was delivered in 2023. Captain: Mustafa Kuruca
Mustafa Kuruca - Captain
Mustafa was born in Izmir and grew up in Bodrum & Marmaris. He studied in a maritime high school. At the age of 16, he worked on a 33m sailing boat. He worked on charter boats until college and studied at the University of Istanbul in the department of maritime transport and management. After university, he joined another motor yacht and worked on a charter yacht in Greece for two years.
Celal Altun - Chef
Celal was born and grew up in Bodrum. He has 20 years of experience on yachts, along with owning his own restaurant for 5 years in Bodrum. He has experience in cooking several different cuisines from European, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern, with a passion for pastries. Over the last 20 years, Celal has worked on both private and charter yachts travelling around the med.
Can Ozkardas - Deckhand
Can started his professional career at a young age. After a maritime university, he worked on private and charter yachts since 2010. Can has excellent knowledge and experience in operating a number of fishing boats and tenders of various sizes. He has endless respect for his profession and love for the ocean.
Ahmet Dereli - Steward
Ahmet was born and grew up in Denizli. He studied in a maritime high school. He had his first 26m gulet experience in 2020. He is very hard working, well organized and does his job to the best of his ability. He loves his profession and always try to improve.
