Core glitch: JUST MARIE 2 is a 78ft Lagoon Seventy 8 where the master cabin doesn’t just have “sea views” – it has a drop‑down hydraulic balcony. Your bedroom literally turns into a private beach club, so the usual “step out for a swim” becomes “step out of bed for a swim.”
Space-to-guest ratio is ridiculous. This is a full‑beam 37ft power catamaran built in 2018 and refit 2021/22, run strictly for 6 guests in 3 large queen cabins (including that master suite mini‑penthouse). You’re getting superyacht‑level square footage without needing superyacht‑level headcount to justify it.
Outside is where it breaks the spreadsheet. Foredeck: sunken lounge and open teak deck for proper “front‑row seat to everything” viewing. Aft: wide cockpit plus hi‑lo swim platform that turns into a water‑level terrace and toy launch zone. Up top: flybridge with bar, BBQ, dining and loungers under an electric hard‑top, so you choose sun or shade instead of arguing about it.
Why this yacht instead of another 78‑footer: real privacy (only three guest cabins), a master with its own fold‑out balcony, and tri‑deck lounging that actually works for living, not just listing. Add a Williams jet tender, Seabobs/Sea Wings, SUPs, kayak, wakeboard, skis, towables and snorkel gear, and you’ve effectively rented your own low‑rise resort with a toys department.
Onboard life is wired and catered. Full AC, Wi‑Fi, Plex movie server, Bose surround with speakers everywhere, TVs in all cabins, and a galley run by a professional chef whose sample menu reads more like a restaurant week lineup than “yacht food”. Four crew look after six guests, which means service is closer to “unreasonable” than “adequate.”

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a power catamaran like Just Marie 2, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€9,800 - €17,150), making the charter cost €58,800 to €66,150. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew
Captain: Jiorgos Kourtelis
Jiorgos drives JUST MARIE 2 with the calm of a man who has beaten oceans for decades, so your route feels sharp, safe, and tuned to the best wind and water, not the obvious track. He folds real rescue‑grade judgment into an easy, story‑rich style that makes every passage feel like a serious trip wrapped in relaxed edges.
- Born 1971, Greek nationality
- Skippering since age 19; extensive cruising in Mediterranean, Bahamas, Caribbean, West Africa, and Pacific Central America
- 12 Atlantic crossings completed
- Awarded first-class Medal of Honor (2001) by Greek Minister of Merchant Marine for role in ferry Samina passenger rescue
Alekos runs the galley like a quiet laboratory, dropping out plates that hit clean Mediterranean flavor with serious discipline, meal after meal, so your days lock into a rhythm of sharp, unhurried food rather than just “something to eat.” He reads the table fast and shifts from light, sea‑day lunches to slow, layered dinners without ever repeating himself.
- Born 1975, Athens, Greece
- 20+ years working as a chef in the yachting industry on private and charter yachts
- Professional culinary training with focus on Mediterranean cuisine
- Additional experience in Asian, Italian, and French cuisines
Emelyn keeps the interior running tight and quiet—cabins crisp, tables set, drinks in hand—so service feels almost invisible but always on time. She catches the small things before you notice them, turning the boat into a calm, well‑run little world where you don’t have to ask twice for anything.
- Born 1982, Philippines; based in Greece with her family
- Professional background as yacht stewardess focused on charter service
- Fluent in Filipino and English
Joel works the decks with steady, unshowy precision—lines clean, toys ready, tenders tight—so every swim, transfer, and watersports run snaps into place without drama. He stays low‑profile but locked‑in, giving you freedom to play while he quietly keeps the hardware under control.
- 36 years old; AB‑rank deckhand
- 16 years in the yachting industry (since 2006)
- Experience on private and charter motor and luxury yachts
- Fluent in Filipino and English; basic Greek
