A crewed Sunreef catamaran in Greece costs about €79,000 a week in high season for a Sunreef 80, the most common size, plus expenses and 13% VAT. The Sunreef 60 is about €48,000, the 70 and 74 footers €65,000 to €69,000, and the 80 foot power catamaran €105,000.
That buys a semi-custom luxury catamaran for eight to ten guests with three to six crew. We list 16 Sunreefs, and 11 of them are based in Greece.
Which Sunreef models can you charter in Greece?
Sunreef Yachts is a Polish yard founded in 2002 by Francis Lapp, building semi-custom sailing and power catamarans in Gdansk. Its boats sit at the luxury end of the Greek catamaran fleet, with more space, finish and crew than a production catamaran of the same length.
The Sunreefs we list fall into five groups:
- Sunreef 60: three sailing catamarans built in 2025, for eight guests in four cabins with three or four crew. One more, a 2020 Sunreef 50, is about €27,500 a week, though for a fully crewed week we recommend the 60.
- 70 and 74 footers: a 2022 power catamaran of 70 feet and a 2023 sailing catamaran of 74 feet, for eight to ten guests.
- Sunreef 80: four sailing catamarans built from 2019 to 2023, the most common Sunreef in Greece, for eight or ten guests with five or six crew.
- 80 foot power: one 2025 power catamaran for eight guests with four crew.
- Based outside Greece: five more Sunreefs we list are based in Croatia, Italy, the West Med and the Caribbean.

Sunreef, Lagoon or Fountaine Pajot: which catamaran suits Greece?
These are the four catamaran yards we list most in Greece:
- Sunreef: semi-custom luxury catamarans, mostly 60 to 80 feet, at about €48,000 to €79,000 a week.
- Fountaine Pajot: a larger, sportier production fleet, typically 67 feet, at about €44,500 to €48,000 a week. See our Fountaine Pajot page.
- Lagoon: the biggest choice and the most space for the money, about €30,500 a week for a Lagoon 55. See our Lagoon page.
- Bali: an open-plan layout with a solid foredeck lounge, priced just below Lagoon. See our Bali page.
Sailing or power is the other choice, and our sailing versus power catamaran guide covers it for Greek waters. Every power catamaran we list is on our power catamaran charter page.
Our favourite Sunreefs for charter in Greece
We have been aboard these Sunreefs or booked them for our clients. Three are based near Athens, a short hop from the Saronic Gulf and the Cyclades, and MYMARIA is based at Lefkas in the Ionian.
SERENITY is a 2025 Sunreef 60 whose solar panels run the air conditioning all night without the generator, so nights on board are quiet and cool. Her flybridge has a bar, a dining table and sunbeds facing the bow, and Captain Vasiliki and Chef Gregory lead a crew our clients rate highly, at €48,000 a week in high season.
MYMARIA, also a 2025 Sunreef 60, is based at Lefkas and is one of the few Sunreefs that spend the summer in the Ionian. Our brokers rate her and her crew of four highly for a luxurious Ionian week, at €45,000 a week in high season.
GENNY is a 2021 Sunreef 80 that stands out at a glance, dark grey instead of the usual white, with a spacious interior and panoramic views from the central lounge. She is plastic-free, her flybridge has sunbeds, dining and a full bar, and a separate high-speed chase boat takes guests ashore, at €80,000 a week in high season.
ALTEYA is a 2022 Sunreef power catamaran of 70 feet, for eight guests in four cabins with a crew of five. She cruises at about 12 knots, so longer hops through the Cyclades take less time than under sail, at €69,000 a week in high season.
