Location
Ormos Sikia is an anchorage located to the southwest of Kimolos. Known for its huge cliffs and rock formations, Sikia is preferred by hikers and mountain climbers.
Mooring at Ormos Sikia
Sikia is open to the northerlies from the west-northwest direction but provides enough shelter from easterlies. You can moor around the Ay Andreas islet with the suggested anchor of not more than four meters. However, the southern and northern sides of the bay from the islet are recommended for a safe harbour.
Extra care is recommended while sailing through the reefs between Ay Andreas and Kimolos.
Provisioning and Services
Sikia is not suited for provisioning. At best, you may find some food stalls and hutments for rent.
