Advertised by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht PROMETHEUS I is a 147 ft motor yacht featuring a jetski and a hot tub. The highlights of PROMETHEUS I are her impeccable styling and culinary experience. PROMETHEUS I spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was constructed by the famous yacht builder Heesen in 1998. A succesful refit was finalized in 2023. The spacious yacht layout features 5 generous cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests.

PROMETHEUS I is classified as a superyacht. The key part of the yacht, expansive aft deck, is right next to the the heart of the yacht - the main saloon. Captain, Panagiotis (Panos) Zorzos

Cpt. Panos was born in 1969 in Athens, Greece. He graduated from the Merchant Μarine Academy in Hydra, in 1991. He is married and has one child.
He has been in command of many renowned yachts for the past 25 years, PATHOS-MAGIX-OXYZEN-OURANOS before joining M/Y PROMETHEUS I. With a vast experience of the Aegean & the Ionian Seas, he can tailor make your ideal itinerary around the islands & assist you with arranging your onshore activities (half of them in the Mediterranean Sea, mostly south of France, and Italy). Cpt. Panos speaks English fluently - has a great sense of humor - and speaks Greek. His hobbies include cinema movies, walking, soccer, and scuba diving.

Chief Engineer, Timos Michailidis
He was born in Athens, Greece, in 1976. After completing his basic studies, he graduated from Aspropyrgos Merchant Marine Academy in 1998. He is happily married and has two children. With over 15 years of experience working on commercial yachts, he has spent four of those years working with Captain Panos on previous yachts MY Oxyzen and MY Highlander. For the past nine years, he has been responsible for the M/Y Ancallia, including upgrading the engine room. His travel experience encompasses all the Greek islands, the South of France, and Italy. A native Greek speaker, he is also fluent in English. His hobbies include swimming, cinema, movies, and football.

Chief Officer, Yiannis (John) Lorandos
Yiannis was born in Athens and graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos in 2020. After gaining experience on various types of ships, including tankers and bulk carriers, he sought a job that combined his hobby and his passion for the sea. The yacht industry became his optimal choice, allowing him to indulge in detailing, water sports, exploring, and his love for the sea. Yiannis has previously worked as Mate on M/Y Akira One and alongside Captain Panos, equipping him to lead M/Y Prometheus I to provide the best experience for the guests. He is a native Greek speaker and is fluent in English. Yiannis, along with the rest of the crew, is here to ensure your safety and well-being and to give you the best vacation of your life.

2nd Engineer/Deckhand, Konstantinos (Kostas) Michalopoulos
Konstantinos was born in Athens in 1992. He graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy in Aspropyrgos and began his career on large crude oil tankers at Maran Tankers Management until he qualified as a Marine Engineer. Transitioning from tankers to yachting, he worked on various yachts, gaining extensive experience in all aspects of yacht engineering. He is highly skilled in troubleshooting and solving complex issues, with his perceptiveness and effectiveness inspiring and motivating other crew members. A native Greek speaker, he is also fluent in English. Konstantinos enjoys water sports, cycling, traveling, and hiking in nature.

Chef, Aggelos Tsirtsikos
Born in 1980 in Piraeus, he is a talented and skilled chef with a diverse background in various cuisines and cooking techniques. Married with two children, he brings expertise from managing bustling private and charter yachts, catering to a wide array of international clients. His culinary repertoire includes European, Asian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Greek cuisine, acquired through extensive training and courses. Additionally, he has worked alongside Captain Panos on the previous yacht MY OXYZEN. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, reading, and swimming.

Chief Stewardess, Georgia Papoutsidi
Chief Stewardess Georgia was born in Georgia in 1984 and is married. With many years of experience in hospitality and extensive training from luxury restaurants, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Georgia has received training through various wine and beverage seminars, silver service courses, and psychology courses to better understand and assist guests. Her passion for the sea led her to join the yachting industry in 2015. She has worked on yachts such as the Maltese Falcon, Lady G, Rola, and many others before joining Prometheus I to achieve a new experience with the highest standards in the industry. In addition to her love of travel, Georgia is an aromatherapist, has experience in face yoga, and is a dedicated yoga practitioner. She is also a volunteer rescuing stray animals and enjoys dancing and singing.

2nd Stewardess – Alexandra Liveri
Alexandra, also known as Allessa, was born in 1991 in Greece and spent most of her childhood living by the sea, where she developed a deep love for it. She was educated in England and began her career in hospitality, where she has been working for over 10 years. Allessa returned to Greece to become a stewardess, working on motor and sailing yachts ranging from 25 to 55 meters. She also spent some time in Belgium as an air stewardess, earning her IATA attestation. This experience allowed Allessa to grow in her capabilities, making her the exceptional stewardess she is today, always striving for perfection with unparalleled knowledge and expertise. In her spare time, Allessa enjoys yoga and Tai Chi.

3rd Stewardess, Irina Maius Liliana
Irina was born in Bucharest in 1988 and has resided in Greece for the past 21 years. She is fluent in Romanian, Greek, and English. After a 17-year tenure in luxury hospitality, she transitioned to the yachting industry in 2020, beginning her journey aboard M/Y Alexandra as a rotational stewardess. Captivated by the yachting industry, Irina chose to pursue a career at sea. She has traversed Europe and extensively explored Greece through her work on various vessels. Her aptitude for hosting and assisting guests in crafting unforgettable holidays is a testament to her dedication and passion for the yachting realm. In her spare time, Irina enjoys exploring new destinations, connecting with people from around the globe, and sharing cultural insights.

Bosun, Christos (Chris) Kantzilidis
Christos was born in 1978 in Cologne, Germany, and studied at the Merchant Marine Academy of Thessaloniki. He has over 12 years of superyacht experience as a bosun and has been working at sea since he was 20, always feeling at home on the water. Christos previously worked with Captain Panos on the yachts Ouranos, Pathos, and Highlander for six seasons. He is hardworking and has excellent attention to detail. As a watersport instructor, Christos oversees Prometheus I' wide array of watersports activities, ensuring that guests are looked after in a safe yet fun manner. A keen jet skier, he enjoys outdoor activities and is dedicated to providing guests with the best experience possible on board Prometheus I.

Junior Deckhand, Theodoros Avanidis
Theodoros, born in Athens in 1990, developed a strong affinity for the sea, guiding him into the yachting industry. He transitioned from executive roles to safety-related positions within the commercial boat industry, becoming adept at adhering to regulations and enhancing every scenario uniquely. Previously having worked as a football team coach, he emphasizes consistency and meticulous attention to detail, recognizing their impact. Theodoros is renowned for his hardworking nature and rapid rise within the yachting industry. He is a native Greek speaker and fluent in English.
