Heesen is a Dutch yard best known for aluminium motor yachts, and five of its yachts are listed with us for charter in Greece. This page ranks all five, from 123 to 147 feet (37 to 45 metres). The count runs from #5, the smallest, up to #1, the biggest, by the length on each yacht’s listing. Starting rates run from €78,000 per week to €195,000 per week, as listed in September 2026.

What makes a Heesen
Frans Heesen founded the yard in 1978 in Oss, in the Netherlands, and it has launched more than 200 yachts since. It is counted among the world leaders in all-aluminium yachts, and it builds steel-hulled yachts as well. Its signature hull, the Fast Displacement Hull Form, first appeared on the 65 metre Galactica Star in 2013, and the largest Heesen so far is the 80 metre Genesis, delivered in 2023. Neither is on our charter list. The five here are an earlier generation: built between 1992 and 2007, all refitted since, and cruising at 14 to 16 knots, with HEESEN quicker at 17 to 19.
For Greece, what matters is the summer wind. The meltemi, the dry north wind of the Aegean, blows mainly from mid-May to mid-September and is strongest in July and August. BENIK lists stabilisers at anchor and underway, MAGIX and PROMETHEUS I underway, and BLISS at anchor; ask us about stabilisation on the yacht you like.
5. MAGIX
“Three Decks Outside, From Athens”
MAGIX is a 123 foot Heesen built in 1992 and refitted in 2012, based in Athens and cruising Greece and Turkey. She takes 10 guests in 5 cabins, including a main deck master with a bath and a full-beam VIP below. Her sundeck has a Jacuzzi, and the toys include a Sea-Doo jet ski, 2 Seabob F5S with cameras, skis for adults and kids, a wakeboard and a 5.2 metre Zodiac tender. Rates run from €78,000 to €92,000 per week, plus a 30% APA, the lowest of the five.
4. BENIK
“Seven Cabins on a 41 Metre Yacht”
BENIK is a 134.5 foot (41 m) Heesen built in 2002 and refitted in 2024, based in Athens. She has 7 cabins for 12 guests and a crew of 8, with a beach club and a deck Jacuzzi. The toy list runs to 4 Seabobs, a Sea-Doo Spark jet ski, a flyboard, a Wake Jet Board and a 19 foot Castoldi jet tender. Rates run from €125,000 to €140,000 per week, plus a 40% APA.

3. HEESEN
“Fast Enough to Reach More Islands”
The yacht named HEESEN is a Heesen listed at 141 feet, built in 1998 and refitted in 2019, chartering in Greece. Her listing gives a cruising speed of 17 to 19 knots and a top speed of 25 knots, the quickest cruise of the five. Her description lists 5 suites for up to 11 guests, including one cabin with three single beds; ask us to confirm guest numbers for your group. For divers, the listing offers rendezvous diving only, with guided scuba days arranged locally. Rates run from €84,000 to €98,000 per week, plus APA.
2. BLISS
“Refitted in 2025, With a Sea Pool Beach Club”
BLISS is a 144 foot Heesen built in 2007, with refits in 2019 and 2025 and design by Palmadottir and Omega Architects. She takes 12 guests in 7 cabins. On board: a beach club, a deck Jacuzzi, a gym, a sauna, a cold plunge and stabilisers at anchor. “A Jacuzzi and Two Jet Skis Out of Athens”
PROMETHEUS I is the biggest Heesen on our Greek list: 147 feet, built in 1998 and refitted in 2023, based in Athens with a crew of 10. Her description has up to 10 guests in 5 suites, with a main deck master, two doubles and two twins; ask us to confirm guest numbers for your group. She has a deck Jacuzzi, a large fold-out swim platform, 2 Sea-Doo jet skis, a Seabob F9 and F5S, an e-foil and a 7.1 metre chase boat towed behind. Rates run from €130,000 to €165,000 per week, plus APA.

IDEFIX II, 154 feet
IDEFIX II is a 154 foot (47 m) Heesen built in 2008 and refitted in 2024, for 12 guests in 6 cabins, cruising the Aegean, the Ionian and Cyprus. She is the one Heesen here bigger than PROMETHEUS I, and she is listed on our sister site, DMA Yachting, rather than on this one. We filmed on board at the 2026 Nafplion show: the round dining table with its lazy Susan, and a covered top deck that seats 16 for dinner. YAMI is a Heesen built in 2003 and refitted in 2026, for 12 guests in 5 cabins, cruising the Ionian and the Cyclades as well as Albania, Turkey and Cyprus. At 146 feet she sits just below PROMETHEUS I. She carries three tenders, including an Axopar 37 chase boat with twin 300 hp engines, and she is also listed on DMA Yachting. What a Heesen charter in Greece costs
Where a listing gives a range, it is usually low to high season. On MAGIX’s listing, for example, the high season runs from 15 June to 15 September 2026 at €92,000 per week, and from 1 January to 14 June 2026 it is €78,000 per week. Listed starting rates vary widely, from €78,000 per week (MAGIX) to €195,000 per week (BLISS); size, year and refit all differ between the five. All five charter on plus-expenses terms: on top of the rate you pay an advance provisioning allowance (APA), a deposit that covers running costs such as fuel and food during the week. MAGIX lists a 30% APA and BENIK 40%. PROMETHEUS I’s listing gives 35% in high season, and it is the one listing here that states Greek VAT, at 5.2%. Ask us for the exact terms on the yacht you like.
