Onboard visit
Captain Giorgos spent decades on sailing yachts but now swears by this power cat — and it's easy to see why. Cruise smoothly, or push on faster if you want to cover more ground, backed by a next-level water system: filtered, softened, sterilized, and served still or sparkling. The master cabin is a standout, and the crew — Giorgos, Chef Dimitris, and hostess Nancy — bring a warm, relaxed energy guests keep coming back for.

"During my overall exposure at sea, as a sailing athlete and coach, I have had the opportunity, not only to practice a sport or a profession, but also develop both personally and professionally, utilising every experience towards a diverse skillset.
I have been a sailing coach for 20 years, a job that proved to be extremely challenging and like every great challenge, it left me with a tonne of experiences. I have learned to value the power of a team, while in the meantime I obtained the skill to manage people by means of driving them to work in harmony by promoting a sense of initiative and unity.
As an athlete I am highly determined, resilient, self-motivated and self-disciplined. Although my experience bears a strong sense of perfectionism, since winning championships requires attention to detail, I have learned that being open-minded allowed me to operate with flexibility and versatility and adapt to the changing circumstances and challenges the sea has to offer.
As a person, I am equipped with great communication and social skills, I am familiar with working under pressure and withstand the physical demands of the job, even at times when things can be difficult and the hours long.
Driven by my passion and my insatiable love for the professions of the sea, I bring these skills and the same quality of service to my client, I am a person with a strong work ethic, working with diligence, confidence, and purpose. "

Captain Giorgos on Elly's performance and fuel efficiency
Captain Giorgos discusses Elly's engine specifications, maximum cruising speed, and fuel consumption at various speeds, highlighting its impressive range and efficiency.
Captain's insights on ELLY's speed, range, and water treatment
The captain discusses ELLY's cruising capabilities, fuel efficiency, and advanced water purification system, highlighting the benefits of a power catamaran for charter guests.
We have a maximum cruising speed about 18 knots, but in this speed we have a consumption about 200 liters per hour, both engines. Still very reasonable.
Captain Giorgos 0:11
If I go with lesser EVs, let's say in a speed about 10 knots, I can have a consumption less than 50 liters per hour. That's amazing.
Captain Giorgos 0:25
We can go faster, we can have more time for the clients on the power boat because if you arrive in a place faster, you will have more time spending in a nice bay.

Transcript — Captain Giorgos on Elly's performance and fuel efficiency
>> what engines have you got in here?
Captain: We have Cummins 550 horsepower, two engines. They are very good. We have a maximum cruising speed about 18 knots, but in this speed we have a consumption about 200 liters per hour, both engines. Still very reasonable.
Captain: Yes, if I go with lesser EVs, let's say in a speed about 10 knots, I can have a consumption less than 50 liters per hour. That's amazing. So the range is big. We decide with our clients which speed, which consumption, but always we have to know that when we go against the wind and against big waves, we increase the consumption.
Transcript — Captain's insights on ELLY's speed, range, and water treatment
Imagine nights with a nice moon and nice music. All the guests, all the clients, they like it. We have Dimitric is ourself and Nany is our hostess. Fountaine Pajot, they're very, very popular boats. I don't know what feature do you like about the boat.
Captain: We can go faster, we can have more time for the clients on the power boat because if you arrive in a place faster, you will have more time spending in a nice bay. This boat we have installed a special treatment for the water that we take from the dock, also from the water maker, with the filters, with a softener, with a sterilizer. And then after the freshwater tank, we have a system with five different filters. Finally, we have mineral water, still, sparkling.
Broker: Amazing. So that's just a little aspect, isn't it? Yes. Wow. Spacious master. So see, this is a master cabin.
Captain: We have a maximum cruising speed about 18 knots. Okay, but in this speed, we have a consumption about 200 liters per hour. But with lesser RPMs, in a speed about 10 knots, I can have a consumption less than 50 liters per hour. That's amazing. So the range is big. We decide with our clients with speed, with consumption, but always depending on the weather. Yes, we have to know that when we go against the wind and against big waves, we increase the consumption. The funny thing is that from 1995 I always was on sailing boats. I am also a sailing instructor, and since 2022, I was only on sailing boats, and finally I decided to try this power cat. And it was strange at the beginning.
Broker: Yeah, I agree. My story is exactly the same. Yeah, it's a different feeling. It's a different, but it's also the future for, you know, being on a catamaran, but being able to cover distances and the speed like motor yachts, but with the cat or sailing cat fuel consumption. So, yeah, I personally, I really like power cat. I think they're cool, even though I like, we can really see that, you know, beautiful cabins. They have all the sports equipment you would want. So, yeah, I'd say go for it.
