I looked after a group of ten aboard ChristAl MiO in Greece, 13 to 19 September 2026, sailing from Athens. Most were first-time visitors who told me they were "game for anything", and Captain George Bastis took them to Kythnos, Paros, Mykonos and Antiparos with swim stops along the way. Afterwards they wrote: "The trip was outstanding! The crew was fabulous, we all had such a great time." They loved Nickolas's cooking, stewardess Diana and deckhand Franco, and a last dinner beneath the Temple of Poseidon.

Transcript — ChristAl Mio: A Captain's Perspective on Luxury Charter
You have a range of 1,200 nautical miles. Or otherwise, you can go fast, 17 knots. The range, of course, is lower, but it's more than 400 nautical miles.
It's a ChristAl Mio 67. Fuel consumption in 10 knots is 33 liters per hour, or in 17 knots, it's about 150. If you compare it with a motorboat with this space, of course, it's almost nothing. The speed is, I think it's okay. 17 knots in this area is very, very nice.
We have five cabins in ChristAl Mio. Here we are with the master cabin.
We make, we produce our own water. So, from the tanks also, the water comes through approximately eight filters, UV filters, any kind of filter, and it is completely drinkable. So, we avoid any plastic, any aluminum, all of these.
Even though we are a power cat, the noise is not a problem for us, neither for the guests.
Boat, I like it a lot. It has many spaces around, and I've been here three years now. So, I like it a lot. Second most famous part of the boat, but everybody likes to hang around here when it's slack waters and they can.
It's suitable for all kind of group of guests. The main guests are from America, 90%, something like that. Mostly a set of couples or two groups of families.
Every itinerary is different. We don't have a favorite one. But we like Cyclades a lot. Though Ionian is always nice to see every now and then. We have like one charter per year, maybe. But this year we'll have more, so we're going to see more of Ionian as well. I love Cyclades complex and specific area that I prefer is close to Milos. Milos, Kimolos, and Polyaigos, so this part of Cyclades. Because there are amazing blue waters.
The crew, this is the third season with me. We are four. I'm a steward for approximately six and a half years. I love it. It's my passion. I love the sea. I love the trips. And I love the connection and the bond that we create with all of our guests. The best thing that you can have if you keep your team is you can improve it all the time. So, this year boys are certified in first aid, certified in life saving, and certified divers too. We try to make a very safe boat. Usually we try to find the best quality and we try to find also fishermen to buy direct fresh fish and make whatever they like.
Broker: But ideally, the further out you book, the more availability we're going to be able to look at, so many more yachts. I think always if you can have the time, if you can plan ahead, you're going to end up not just saving yourself money, but you're going to be able to find more ideal yacht. You're going to make sure the boat that you choose is exactly the boat that you're looking for and that it's available for you.
