Overview
Vourlitha is a less-known and secluded beach in Sifnos, Greece. Also known as Vroulidia, this bay lies on the island’s northwest coast. It is away from all the villages and is also surrounded by mighty rocky mountains.
One of the highlights of Vourlitha is the rocky secluded beach. When in mood for some tranquility and solitude, this little bay is the perfect choice. Even though tourists prefer visiting the happening and noisier beaches on the island, Vourlitha stands tall with its crystal clear waters perfect for snorkeling and swimming.
Navigation
Vourlitha lies between Ayios Yeoryios and North Bay. As per locals, it is an anchorage but does not provide enough shelter as compared to nearby anchorages.

Vourlitha is a secluded beach with two tavernas serving lip smacking seafood options. Cherronisos village is located 6 km away from this beautiful bay. Encroach a sunbed with an umbrella and enjoy reading a book. If a peaceful holiday is on your mind, Vourlitha is an ideal spot.
Beaches
Rent a sunbed and relax for hours. Vourlitha is a pebble beach, so there is no sand. Building sandcastles is not a possibility here, but you can swim and snorkel in crystal clear waters.
There are times when you want to be away from all the hustle-bustle. While Greece has many crowded, happening, and noisy beaches, Vourlitha chooses to stay low-key with only two tavernas and a beach to swim in. The Vourlitha beach is perfect for sunbathing and soaking in a peaceful environment.
Cherronissos Beach
If you are looking for a decent beach to swim in and have fresh seafood, consider visiting Cherronissos Beach which is very close to Vourlitha.

Cafe Restaurant Vroulidia
The cafe opened its doors in 2009 and has been serving traditional dishes ever since its inception. Yiannis and Tassia’s Vroulidia Cafe faces the turquoise waters and the interiors have a unique and conventional touch. It is decorated with pottery and woven textiles. Diners can choose to sit on the terrace or the courtyard.
The vegetables are freshly plucked from Tasia’s garden. Dig into fresh seafood, especially calamari and octopus or try the salads made of fresh vegetables. The food may remind you of your home as it is cooked with love.
Katerina’s Beach Cafe Restaurant
Owners and their two daughters run the Katerina’s Beach cafe restaurant. It offers a stellar view and has reasonably-priced dishes.
From fresh fish, squids, to healthy salads – Katerina’s has it all. Although Vourlitha is not a tourist-y spot, travelers like to spend their time at Katerina’s for its warm and friendly service.
