Overview
North-West of Syros is a cute small beach called Aetos. This magnificent beach is well out of the way. It is the perfect place for vacationers and islanders who seek a private place to create new memories or take spectacular pictures. A great view of the mountains on both sides offset by pristinely clear water and a sandy beach with pebbles is truly picturesque. Though there might be no beach chairs, bars, or restaurants here, it has kept its quaint charm all this time. Think lovely private picnics and lots of sunbathing.

Aetos is a sheltered bay in northwestern Syros located north of the Varvaroussa beach and south of Ano Meria and Ak Sarakinito. It is approximately 1km from Varvaroussa and over 5.5km from Ano Syros for those hiking. It can be reached by sea on one of the boats that sail from Kini or Athens.
The sheltered nature of the bay protects one from the wind, which generally gives a great swimming experience. Just to the right of the main beach is a small secluded beach where the unique formation of the rocks gives shade in case the sun gets too hot.
