Ormos Ayios Annas

Location

Ormos Ayios Annas is among the top sailing destinations on the Cyclades, it is located on the eastern part of Mykonos, and it is exposed to only the south and southwestern winds. It has a sandy and seaweed bottom, and a good holding for motor yachts and yacht charters in Greece. Ayios Annas is a small bay located between Platis Gialos and Paranga beach. From the beach, you can head to Mykonos Chora by bus.

Ayios Annas bay can be found immediately E of Ak Makrokefalos, and its bottom is covered in weed and sand. Chartered yachts can anchor in 3-6m on the bay. The bay is open to the S, and you will find two other bays in the W and E side of the bays which offer shelter from the Meltemi.

Provisioning

Ayios Annas bay is not far from amenities which makes it a hotspot for sailing in Greece. You are also going to find a supermarket where crewed yachts can shop for provisions.

Ormos Ayios Annas is an excellent anchorage as it provides a good shelter from the Meltemi with good holding for Greek yachts. During the day, it is filled with bathers brought by day-trip boats and motor yachts but it is free in the evening.

Ormos Ayios Annas offers thrilling activities that yacht charters in Greece can try out as it is surrounded by beach. The beach offers charters and boats the chance to lay down and sunbathe in the sun. The beach is picturesque in May as it is surrounded by flowers, which makes it a perfect spot to take Instagram-worthy pictures. You can also head to the beach of Paraga, a larger beach nearby. Paraga beach is a combined textile and partly naturist beach, and you will find a supermarket, numerous accommodations, and restaurants that you can explore.
