Agios Kosmas is a modern and well-provided marina that was built to host the Olympic Games in 2004 and a lovely sailing spot in Greece. The marina is located in a strategic location which makes it a perfect spot for yacht charters in the Saronic island. It is situated in the coastal area in southern Attica close to the city of Glyfada and just 15km from the Athens city center. Due to the location of the Marina, it offers yacht charters and motor yachts a great shelter in any weather. The Marina welcomes boats and chartered yachts which range from 15m to 80m in size for short and long stay visitors that want to berth. Once your Greek yachts get to the Marina, you will be assisted by the Marina’s sailors with two tenders on where you can moor your vessels.

Even though Agios Kosmas was developed as a home to marine exhibitions and superyachts shows originally, It is now home to some superyachts and visiting yachts as well.

Capacity and technical data

Agios Kosmas is one of the top sailing destinations in Greece that welcomes boats and motor yachts of sizes from 15 m to 80 m for short and long stay visitor berthing. The Marina is spacious and can accommodate up to 337 boats in total on both the floating and permanent pontoons along with spaces suitable for graving dry docking for boat wintering at the Marina.

You will love the variety of facilities and services that the marina offers chartered yachts on the Saronic island. It is equipped with facilities like a touchdown and lift-off area for helicopters, a slipway for trailers, four main car park areas, and a vacuum sewage system. For your safety and the safety of your boat, the marina complex is fenced with only one entrance gate while there are private securities that keep watch 24 hours a day. There is also a CCTV system with electronic cameras for the coverage of the Marina facilities. Moreover, the pier is equipped with firefighting systems like fire extinguishers, firefighting equipment, alarm buttons, etc.

History of Agios Kosmas

The Agios Kosmas Marina was constructed mainly to host the sailing competitions of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. After the competition, it was turned into a private marina. Agios Kosmas is supervised and managed by the Hellinikon SA and it provides the best shelter spot from extreme weather conditions in the Attica area coastline due to its incredible morphology.
