Azimut Yacht Charter in Greece: Cost and the Grandes We Recommend

A crewed Azimut in Greece costs about €93,500 a week in high season at the standard we recommend, from €60,000, plus expenses and 13% VAT. That means a recent Azimut Grande of 85 to 90 feet at €70,000 to €90,000, or a Grande of 100 to 125 feet at €135,000 to €195,000.

Most Azimuts cruising Greece are 60 to 89 footers at about €19,500 to €47,000 a week. We count 42 Azimuts cruising Greece in our catalogue, and 18 are listed on this site.

Which Azimut yachts can you charter in Greece?

Azimut was founded in 1969 by Paolo Vitelli near Turin and builds flybridge and sport motor yachts in Italy. Its Grande range, from 26 to 38 metres, makes up most of the newer Azimuts in Greece.

High-season weekly rates of the Azimuts in our catalogue that cruise Greece, built 2000 or later, October 2026. Not every yacht is listed online, so ask us about any size here and we will quote it.

The APA and 13% Greek VAT come on top, and our Greek VAT, APA and extra costs page works through a real example.

Below €60,000 a week, a crewed catamaran usually gives a better week in Greece than an older motor yacht. Our motor yacht versus catamaran guide explains why.

Azimut, Ferretti or Sunseeker: which motor yacht suits Greece?

These are the motor yacht builders we charter most in Greece:

  • Azimut: a newer fleet than Ferretti’s in Greece, with Grande models from 2020 on, about €93,500 a typical week at the standard we recommend.
  • Ferretti: roomy flybridge yachts, mostly older, about €75,000 a typical week from 95 feet. See our Ferretti page.
  • Sunseeker: British sport and flybridge yachts, about €125,000 a typical week. See our Sunseeker page.
  • Sanlorenzo: larger custom motor yachts of 90 to 130 feet, about €110,000 a typical week. See our Sanlorenzo page.

Azimut and Benetti belong to the same group, so a client stepping up from a Grande to a superyacht stays with the same family of yards. Our yacht builders in Greece page compares every yard we charter here.

Which Azimuts do we recommend in Greece?

We have been aboard VOLO MARE, and the other three are the newest Azimuts we list in Greece. All four are Grande models based in Athens, a short hop from the Saronic Gulf and the Cyclades.
