VERA Yacht Description
-
Extensive water toys selection including 2 Yamaha Waverunners and Jetsurf GP100:
Multiple toys for fun on water—wave runners, jetsurf, wakeboards, tubes, and water skis keep guests active and entertained. -
Deck Jacuzzi and Spa Pool in Master Cabin:
Perfect for luxury relaxation and romantic moments with stunning sea views after a day of adventure. -
Stabilizers underway for smooth cruising:
Ensures comfortable navigation through choppier seas, allowing access to more remote and exciting destinations.
Start with the non-negotiables: VERA is a 52m Abeking & Rasmussen with a full 2024 refit, a sauna and jacuzzi inside the master bathroom, plus a separate deck jacuzzi up top. If your baseline brief involves bubbles, steam and not talking to anyone while the crew handles reality, this one clears the bar.
Space and layout actually built for humans. VERA sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 proper cabins, with a main-deck master that runs like a private apartment: king bed, his & hers walk‑in wardrobes, his & hers bathrooms with jacuzzi and sauna, office, minibar and safe. Two VIPs plus three convertible doubles below give you clean flexibility for couples, friends or the inevitable “we might bring two more people” message a week before boarding.
Onboard behaviour model: rotate between gym, toys, jacuzzi, repeat. There’s a dedicated lower‑deck gym (treadmill, bike, rower, bench, free weights, mats) for anyone pretending to “keep the routine,” and a full toy list for everyone else: two WaveRunners, Seabob, Jetsurf, SUPs, wakeboard, skis, tubes, banana, canoe, plus snorkelling and rendezvous diving. Translation: no one is stuck “just reading” unless that’s their kink.
Hardware and brains to back it up. Steel hull, stabilizers underway, full AC, strong entertainment backbone (centralised AV, movie/music server with thousands of titles, SAT TV, Wi‑Fi throughout). A crew of around 10–12 runs the operation like a small hotel, which means you focus on decisions like “upper deck alfresco dinner” vs “main salon movie mode” instead of anything remotely operational.
Why charter VERA instead of the next white 50‑something: you’re getting a recently rebooted, Northern European build with a spa‑level master suite, serious outdoor deck space, a gym that isn’t an afterthought, and a toy locker that justifies bringing teenagers, friends and in‑laws on the same week without starting a family tribunal.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like VERA, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (€52,500 - €84,000), making the charter cost €262,500 to €294,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew
Captain: Stavros Lekodimitris

- Greek national, born 1973
- Holds A Class Captain’s Diploma and Master Diploma Unlimited
- 25+ years maritime experience on container, cargo ships, ferries, and large yachts
- Entered yachting in 2016; joined M/Y Vera in 2024
Angelos locks down deck operations and toys with a calm, tactical style, so every launch, landing, and swim stop runs tight and controlled while still feeling easy. When the throttle comes up or the toys hit the water, he is the steady hand in the middle of the motion.
- Greek national, born 1969
- Holds Captain’s C certificate
- In yachting since 2006 with service on M/Y O’rion, O’neiro, Elegant 007, O’mega, Pathos, Jaan
- Open water diver and responsible for watersports instruction onboard
Kostas runs VERA’s machinery like a sealed system, keeping power, cooling, and stabilizers tuned so you feel the yacht as a quiet, solid platform rather than a machine. He lives in the details below deck so your cruise feels effortless above it.
- Greek national, born 1979
- Graduated Merchant Marine Academy of Chania; holds Engineer’s Class A diploma
- 26+ years’ experience across multiple vessel types, specializing in mechanical maintenance and automation
- Previous yacht roles on M/Y IF, Jaan, Pegasus, Kintaro, O’Mathilde; joined M/Y Vera in 2024
Panagiotis builds plates that hit clean Greek and Mediterranean flavors with modern discipline, matching the sea day’s tempo from light, tuned lunches to deep, slow-burn dinners. He treats every menu as a tight route, no guesswork, just deliberate taste.
- Greek national, born 1991
- Chef Certificate from School of Culinary Arts in Greece
- Professional experience at Le Grand Hotel Gordon Ramsay, Le Taquin, Aphrodite (Bordeaux), and MAZI (London)
- Yachting experience on M/Y Moka, Islander, and Zulu3; fluent in English and French

- Greek national, born 1974
- In yachting since 2013 with Chief Stewardess roles on yachts from 27m to 62m
- Background in accounting, restaurant management, and owning her own restaurant
- Trained in high-end silver service and UHNW guest experience seminars
Maria moves fast and precise through cabins and service, keeping the interior sharp while staying almost invisible, so your space feels reset and ready every time you walk back in. She runs details like a race, but the result lands calm and clean.
- Greek national, born 1996
- Holds certificate in Food & Beverage services and diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management
- Yachting since 2018 with experience on M/Y Dragon, Mamma Mia, Kintaro, and Ipanema

Amor brings quiet, steady hospitality, tracking cabins, laundry, and guest requests with a patient rhythm that keeps the interior running smooth behind the scenes. She’s the soft edge that makes service feel warm instead of mechanical.
- Philippine national, born 1980
- Working as hostess/stewardess since 2005
- Served on Orca of London before joining M/Y Vera in 2021
- Fluent in English and Greek
Anastasia brings big-ship passenger experience to a private yacht scale, handling guests and logistics with that ferry-hardened efficiency that keeps traffic moving and people comfortable. She’s used to long coasts and long days, so your itinerary doesn’t scare her.
- Greek national
- Previous experience on passenger ships and ferries
- Has traveled the full length of the Mediterranean coast through her work
Ronaldo is the deck’s anchor man, keeping lines, tenders, and toys squared away while sliding guests on and off the yacht with zero drama. Years with the same owner mean he knows exactly how VERA is supposed to look and move, every day, every port.
- Philippine national, 49 years old
- Resident in Greece since age 17
- Holds speed boat license and has worked on multiple yachts
- With VERA’s owner since 2004; fluent in Greek and English

- Experience on M/Y Summer Fun, Anamel, O’pati, Duke, and Timbuktu
- Holds certificate of apprentice engineer, bosun license, and speed boat license

- Greek national, born 1985
- Holds Chief Officer diploma and all required certificates for his position
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- Experience on commercial and passenger vessels since 2012; speaks English
