-
Full air conditioning system:

Rendezvous diving available:
Charter offers diving excursions by rendezvous—ideal for exploring underwater Mediterranean beauty. -
Spacious teak deck completely rebuilt in 2012:
Large and smooth teak deck perfect for lounging, sunbathing, and enjoying cocktails with sea views.
This is not a floating spa. TESS is a 78ft Martin Francis–designed, aluminium, flush‑deck sail machine that was built to be a maxi racer and then upgraded so you can actually sleep, eat and enjoy it.
Why charter her? Because she is a “real” sailing yacht: light aluminium hull, clean uncluttered teak decks fully rebuilt in 2012, proper sail performance, and a cockpit made for actual sailing and then civilised alfresco dinners. If you want the wind to do the work instead of a pair of 2,000hp engines, this is your platform.
Guest setup is quietly smart. Up to 8 guests in 4 cabins, including a forward cabin with a hidden bathtub under the bed (yes, really), twin cabins with upper/lower berths that work perfectly for kids or friends, and an additional aft cabin option near the crew area for flexible family use. Every cabin has its own bathroom, because sharing is overrated.
Refits mean “vintage hull, current comfort.” Launched mid‑80s, refitted multiple times (notably 2012 and 2024), so you get the classic sailing lines with modernised interiors, full air‑conditioning and Wi‑Fi. She cruises a steady 9 knots without trying to pretend she’s a motor yacht.
Crew is the hidden upgrade. A professional 3‑person Italian crew used to running serious sail programs and hosting charter guests means you get proper seamanship, good food and calm handling when the breeze pipes up. This is especially good news if you’re bringing kids or first‑timers.
Use case: You want an authentic sailing experience with family or friends, real time on deck, real heeling angles, and enough comfort inside that nobody mutinies. TESS is built for exactly that, not for Instagramming a Jacuzzi that doesn’t exist.
Accommodation
In case of family groups, 8 beds are available. Charterers must be aware that Tess is a pure sailing vesselForward double bedded cabin with bathroom ensuite, 2 twin cabins each with lower and upper beds and own bathroom.
It is possible to have also a 4th cabin, situated in the rear part of the vessel, close to the crew's area: it is a single cabin, but with a comfortable bed (double French size) wich could accommodate 2 young's (with own bathroom).
Very bright and well refurbished saloon, separated galley. Crew's quarter with indipendent access from cockpit
Flush deck, spacious teck deck completely rebuilt in 2012

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailboat like TESS, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€3,600 - €7,200), making the charter cost €27,600 to €31,200. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.
