Motor Yacht Taka is one of the most interesting yachts I saw at the Poros yacht show. Totally unique: Built in 1976, she has a classic 70s style—wood, tiles, retro color scheme, funky art, and a crew of 5 that’s been together forever. Captain Zafiris Mammis has been onboard 25 years, and it shows. Big plus: fully set up for mobility needs. Chairlift, proper tender, and real hands-on experience helping disabled guests. That makes a huge difference. Great for an older couple or anyone into vintage style and serious service.
TAKA Yacht Description
Classic, kept current. TAKA is a 98ft Stephens motor yacht built in 1976 and refit in 2022, with the kind of traditional platform that works for guests who like their charter straightforward and well set up.
Seven guests, four cabins. She sleeps up to 7 in 4 suites: a primary cabin with a king bed, two twin cabins, and a single cabin. Sensible for families or mixed groups who do not need identical cabins.
Calmer at anchor. Stabilizers at anchor help take the edge off roll when you are swimming, reading, or doing absolutely nothing. Good. Very good.
Watersports without drama. You have kayaks and paddleboards for low-effort exploring, plus towable toys and water skis for adults and kids when someone wants a proper go. Snorkeling gear is also on board.
Stay connected, if you must. Air conditioning, Wi‑Fi, an indoor audio system, and a TV in the saloon cover the downtime hours between water sessions.

m/y TAKA comfortably accommodates up to nine (9) guests in four well-appointed cabins. The main deck features a spacious Master Cabin and a Single Cabin, both with ensuite facilities, along with a day head that includes a shower and can serve as a secondary bathroom for the Master. The lower deck offers two Twin Cabins, each with a Pullman berth and private ensuite. Accessibility is a key highlight, with an extra-large gangway and a chair lift to the sundeck, making the yacht particularly well-suited for guests with reduced mobility. Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like TAKA, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (€8,875 - €14,200), making the charter cost €44,375 to €49,700. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.
