Start with the good part: SKYLARK is a 70ft Sunreef power catamaran with a deck jacuzzi and a flybridge built for actual outdoor living, not just “two chairs and a rail.” Think: dining up top, sun pads, wet bar, and enough space that eight adults don’t have to pretend they enjoy crowding.
Below that, the wide catamaran platform does its job: stable, fuel‑efficient, low‑draft hulls that slide into shallow bays other yachts stare at from a distance. Inside, SKYLARK sleeps 8 guests in 4 double cabins, including a full‑beam master, all with en suites and big hull windows so you remember you’re on the water, not in a hotel corridor.
The yacht runs at around 11 knots on twin MAN engines, burning less fuel than most monohulls in this size bracket, so more budget goes to fun instead of diesel. Fun, in this case, is a long toy list: 2 Seabobs, waterskis, wakeboard, kayak, towable toys, paddleboards, snorkel and fishing gear, plus a Williams jet tender to move people and toys efficiently.
Then there’s the human upgrade: the same captain-and-chef team on board since launch in 2012—over a decade of running this exact boat together. Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a power catamaran like SKYLARK, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€5,000 - €8,750), making the charter cost €30,000 to €33,750. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.
