I met Captain Thodoris onboard Selene at the show and was swept by his personality—warm, funny, great with people. He’s been sailing his whole life and loves to share it, offering a proper sailing day each charter for guests who want to learn.
Last season, he taught nine kids to waterski in one week—he clearly enjoys having families onboard and doesn’t mind babysitting either. He says it best himself: 50% sailing skills, 50% people skills. In short, Selene is a great 10-guest layout, all-Greek crew, solid vibe. Ideal for families who want fun and real sailing.

SELENE Yacht Description
Advertised by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht SELENE is a 62 ft power catamaran. The highlights of SELENE are her generous space and interconnection with the sea. SELENE spends the summer season in Greece. She was completed by the famous yacht builder Lagoon in 2015. A comprehensive refit was completed in 2024. The expansive yacht layout features 5 generous cabins and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 10 guests.
SELENE is presented primarily as a power catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck features a variety of seating areas and that's where most of the delicious meals are served. The tastefully decorated cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. The cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). Multiple portholes add to the feeling of connection with the discovered environment.
The motor yacht features Engines: 2 x 150 HP - Volvo D3 Generator 1: 19 KW - Fisher Panda Generator 2: 10KW (silent) - Onan engines and a generator.

Description: Theo was born in 1974 in Greece on beautiful Andros Island. At a very young age, he joined the Nautical Club of Andros and started sailing with Optimists, 420s, and Lasers- soon progressing to offshore sailing yachts.
Theo began his sailing career in 2005 as the first mate on the gaff-rigged schooner, S/Y AELLO. He went on to complete his RYA/ MCA Yacht Master Offshore with commercial endorsement, STCW 95 Safety, and his Greek Powerboat License. He is continually working to improve his knowledge and skills of sailing and the technical and mechanical aspects of yachting.
Over the years, he has sailed many miles, sharing experiences with his guests and providing them with first-class service. Theo is a 100% sailor and is a wonderful entertainer. He welcomes guests as family and loves to have them experience life in Greece on the sea.
When he is not on the water, he is in it- he has his Padi Open Sea diver certifications. As well, he loves spending time with his family, hiking, music, and enjoying the incredible nature found in Greece.
