SEATZEN Yacht Description

  • Traditional Wooden Motor Sailer with 2020 Refit:
Classic charm combined with modern comfort, perfect for romantic and cozy family cruising in the Mediterranean.
  • Water Toys including 2 Stand Up Paddleboards and Snorkeling Gear:
Great for active exploration and family fun on the water, enhancing island adventures and beach time.
  • Air Conditioning and Wi-Fi Connectivity:
Full comfort for luxury relaxation and staying connected, ideal for mixing work and leisure offshore.

SEATZEN is what happens when a traditional wooden motor sailer refuses to retire. Built in 1974, fully refit in 2020, she gives you the classic yacht feel with modern systems, proper air-conditioning and Wi‑Fi instead of nostalgia and heatstroke.

The value play is simple: up to 10 guests sleep in 4 ensuite cabins (3 doubles + 1 twin with pullman), plus extra pullman berths for flexible family or friends who “don’t mind the top bunk”. You get the space and privacy of a much newer yacht, without paying for chrome you don’t actually need.

Deck life is her main operating system. Wide wooden decks and a large expanse of sun pads are built for real use: reading, napping, kids sprawling, adults pretending to “help with the sails”. Two paddleboards, snorkeling gear and a 4m tender cover the low‑impact fun; beach games handle the competitive types.

The hidden feature is the crew. A captain who has spent decades on traditional Greek yachts, a chef with serious restaurant and event background, and a tight 4‑person team mean you’re not just renting a hull – you’re buying smooth execution: safe routing, organized days, and meals that behave like a restaurant, not a guessing game.

Net result: SEATZEN is for guests who want a genuine wooden sailing experience, comfortable cabins, strong crew and honest value – more classic yacht, less floating nightclub.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailboat like SEATZEN, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€3,000 - €6,000), making the charter cost €23,000 to €26,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew

Captain: Antonis Trimis

Captain Antonis runs SEATZEN like a precision tool, reading Aegean winds and wooden hulls so guests get smooth passages, sharp routes, and zero drama. His deep-diver mindset and heavy-duty safety training mean he sees trouble before it even thinks about showing up.

  • Started sailing traditional wooden boats at age 14 and racing monohulls with the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club (HORC).
  • Over 21 years of professional yachting experience, including command of a 34m single-masted yacht and a 24m Greek traditional sailing yacht.
  • Holds Offshore Sailing Diploma (200 GT), fast boat, race sail, GMDSS General Operator, and multiple professional dive certifications (Technical Diver SSI, Nitrox SSI, PADI EFR & AED, DAN Oxygen First Aid).
  • Extensive Eastern Mediterranean cruising; previous commands include M/S Anima, M/S Faneromeni, M/S Triton, M/Y Aegeas, M/S Grit, M/Y Buddha, M/Y Akasti, M/S Thomas VI, M/S Delphini; speaks English, Romanian, and German.

Nikos treats SEATZEN’s hull, rig and machinery like a living thing, tuned the way old-school boatbuilders and hard Aegean fishermen do it, so your trip runs clean and tight without shutdowns or surprises. He moves quietly between deck and engine room, keeping the boat ready for whatever the Captain and sea decide next.

  • Raised in Kymi, Euboea, in a major Aegean fishing village, learning traditional fishing and wooden boat building and maintenance from veteran technicians.
  • Professional background on luxury yachts serving demanding clientele, combining seamanship with hospitality.
  • Previous service on M/Y Summer Breeze, M/Y Bala, M/Y Riva I, M/Y Blue Dragonfly, M/S Afovo, M/S Anima, M/S Faneromeni.
  • Speaks English.

Antonios turns SEATZEN’s galley into a tight, focused food lab, dropping honest Aegean flavors with a Berlin-calibrated eye for organic, slow, and clean eating, so every meal matches the sea around you instead of fighting it. He builds menus around your preferences, then backs them with serious sourcing discipline and event-level execution.

  • Professional chef from Northern Greece with extensive experience in Berlin as chef, event and catering organizer, and food distributor.
  • Organized food events at Markthalle Neun in Berlin, promoting Greek cuisine, organic products, and slow food.
  • Former production manager for Beets & Roots in Berlin, supporting multiple units and large-scale corporate catering (including companies such as WeWork).
  • Created high-end Aegean food experiences on traditional Greek boats for VIP guests including royals, heads of state, international celebrities, and global food entrepreneurs; speaks English and German.

Zenia runs the interior like a clean, quiet stage set, sliding in with sharp table service, tight presentation, and that fast-read instinct that gets you what you want before you put it into words. She brings city-level fine-dining polish to an Aegean island boat, so the service feels precise but never stiff.

  • Background in fine dining and high-end hospitality in Athens and Mykonos.
  • Specialized in interior yacht management, including table service and housekeeping, on traditional Greek boats.
  • Focused on discreet, detail-oriented guest service and vessel presentation.
  • Speaks English.
