SAMELI Yacht Description

Advertised by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht SAMELI is a 75 ft sailing catamaran. The most appealing features of SAMELI are her generous space and culinary experience. SAMELI spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was delivered by recognized shipbuilder Two Oceans in 2016. A well-done refit was delivered in 2023. The expansive yacht layout features 5 cozy cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests.

SAMELI is presented primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is expansive, with a comfortable dining and seating area and that's where the guests spend most of their time. The fascinating cabins are connected by stairs to the main saloon - roomy, comfortable and pleasant. The cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). Multiple portholes supply a sunny feeling, with the option for darkness and privacy.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailing catamaran like SAMELI, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€9,800 - €17,150), making the charter cost €58,800 to €66,150. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Captain: Dimitris Stathopoulos
Dimitris in an outgoing person with many interests (skiing, running, tennis, camping,
travelling), very energetic and active.. Greatly skilled, a holder of many diplomas, a
Yacht master for Offshore sailing from the Royal Yachting Association. His
accomplishments also many, some of which are crossing the Atlantic Ocean from St.
Martin to Athens, placed 1st, 2nd and 4th at the Greek Lightning National Sailing
Championships, also a member of the Greek National Sailing Team from competing
in Sailing Regattas.
Certificates : CRP and First Aid certified, Motorboat certificate, driving license,
Maritime studies.
Languages : Greek, English, Italian


Chef: Eleftheria Varelaki
Eleftheria is a chef specializing in Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, but at the same
time she has also experience in the tourism industry and is a passionate sailor! A
great combination and addition for the team on Sameli! Through her professional
experience, she has developed excellent knowledge and skills in the planning,
preparing, and plating of various dishes and cuisines. In addition, as a teacher of
traditional Greek cuisine in an agro-touristic project, she is sharing her passion for
local food, ingredients, and traditions with people from all over the world. Eleftheria
is a hard-working and conscientious person, works with great care and she is always
oriented towards the satisfaction and well-being of her guests. She speaks Greek
and English.


Deckhand: Panagiotis Chourdakis
Panagiotis is born in beautiful Crete Island and has worked in many restaurants over the
year with experience in service. He had joined yachting a few year s ago as deckhand
and steward . After serving on multiple yachts from 42 to 67 feet , he found his way to our
team, bringing his passion for hard work and skills on board He is holding sailing and
power boat diploma and speaks Greek and English

Stewardess: Anna Fenning Kazantzidi
Anna was born on 1999 and she has a Bachelor’s degree in Product Design.
Her passion for open sea and nature has led her to the yachting industry.
As she has worked many years in the sailing and yachting
Industry she has gained valuable experience
regarding the best treatment of guests on board .She thrives with teams with productive work and pride
She holds as well a powerboat certificate up to 22 meters and skipper’s certificate for up to 20 meters
Anna speaks Greek, English and German.
