Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like RARE DIAMOND, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (€20,000 - €32,000), making the charter cost €100,000 to €112,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Panos Dimitriou – Captain
Captain Panos was born and lives in Athens. He has 18 years of experience in the marine industry and more specifically in motor yachts. He joined the yachting industry in 2005 and he has extensively cruised the Eastern and Western Mediterranean.
Panos graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos (Diploma Class A’) with all the required marine licenses and certifications under his belt. He has certainly made the most of his career at sea. Some of his Diplomas are: ECDIS CERTIFICATE, RO-RO PASSENGERS CERTIFICATE, ADVANCED MEDICAL CARE CERTIFICATE, INTERNATIONAL SHIP & PORT FACILITY SECURITY CODE, SHIP SECURITY OFFICER CERTIFICATE, ADVANCED FIRE FIGHTING AND LIFE SAVING CERTIFICATE, ARPA AND ELECTRONIC NAVIGATION CERTIFICATE. He brings a disciplined approach to each task. He is a very driven and energetic person, who loves his job. Panos will always make sure that the guests have an unforgettable experience whilst onboard and that everything flows as seamlessly as possible. Karolos was born and lives in Athens. He graduated as an engineer from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos in 2007 and from 2019 he is a Chief Engineer A’ class. He also holds all the required Marine Licenses and certifications such as Life Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances (Α-VI/1-1 to Α-VI/4-1), Ro-Ro Passengers Ships, Crowd and Crisis management, Ship Security Officer. Karolos has 20 years of experience in the Marine Industry and more specifically in Motor Yachts. He first joined the yachting industry in 2002. Karolos is an adaptable and resourceful problem solver with extensive knowledge of marine equipment, machinery maintenance and engine installation. These skills combined with an excellent work ethic make him a valued member of the team.
Emmanouil Thliveros – Chef
Emmanouil Thliveros is a highly experienced Executive Chef with an extensive career spanning over two decades in both high-end restaurants and luxury yachts. He has held executive roles on several yachts including M/Y IDYLLIC, M/Y WET PANTHER, and M/Y IRIS, as well as long-standing leadership positions in renowned restaurants across Greece. His culinary expertise covers Mediterranean and international cuisine, with a strong focus on fresh seafood and refined presentation. In addition to his yacht experience, Emmanouil is also a cooking instructor, reflecting his passion for sharing knowledge and maintaining high culinary standards. A member of the Greek Chefs Club, he is known for his creativity, leadership, and ability to deliver exceptional dining experiences tailored to guest preferences.
Eleni Chantzi – Stewardess
Born in Athens in 1978, Eleni embarked on her journey in the luxury yachting industry in 2020, driven by her passion for delivering exceptional guest service. She thrives on the challenges of the industry, bringing a diligent work ethic and a positive outlook to every task. Eleni's warm demeanor and welcoming smile make guests feel right at home. Holding a Silver Service Diploma and boasting expertise in wine bartending and mixology, she continuously enhances her skills to ensure unforgettable experiences aboard M/Y Rare Diamond.
Katerina Gounari – Stewardess
Katerina Gounari is an experienced and dedicated stewardess with several seasons aboard luxury yachts ranging from 31m to 45m. She has worked on vessels such as M/Y Tyndareo, M/Y Fan One, and most recently M/Y Vega and M/Y Spica, where she demonstrated strong attention to detail and a high standard of guest service. With a background as a qualified nutritionist, Katerina brings an added level of care and awareness to guest wellbeing and dietary needs. She is organized, discreet, and service-oriented, with a warm and professional demeanor that enhances the onboard experience. Fluent in English and holding a seaman’s book, she is a reliable team member who adapts easily to the dynamic demands of yachting.
Jerry Calopez – Deckhand
Jerry was born in 1980 in the Philippines and lives in Athens. Before joining the yachting industry 10 years ago, he worked in tanker ships for at least 5 years. Jerry holds certificates in Safety Familiarization, Security Awareness and Designated Security Duties, and a speed boat license.
He has different duties onboard, including navigation watch, mooring, and anchoring procedures, jet-ski launch and recovery, tender driving and many others. Jerry is a hard worker, very willing, with a team spirit.
