Walkthrough of the Lucky Clover catamaran in Greece
Captain Yiannis provides a detailed walkthrough of the Lucky Clover, highlighting its comfortable cabins, air conditioning, and various water toys available for guests.
The special thing about our boat is the crew first of all. I think the crew makes the boat. So, we're here for the guests to make their experience unforgettable.
Captain 0:01
The main difference is the small islands that have completely different identities and they are so close to each other. Most islands have hidden beaches which I love exploring.
Captain 1:42
My preferred style is to be close to the guests, to fill their needs and try to satisfy their every request. Cooking for example is a very powerful tool to make the guests' attitude lighten up.

Transcript — Captain's Interview: Lucky Clover in Greece
Captain: The special thing about our boat is the crew first of all. Like you've seen more 52s. You've seen bigger boats, smaller boats, fancier boats, but I think the crew makes the boat. So, we're here for the guests to make their experience unforgettable. Water toys. The most popular is the wakeboard. Most people use the wakeboard in combination with the dinghy.
Broker: So, what horsepowers have you got on?
Captain: It's a 50 horsepower.
Broker: Okay. So, it's plenty of power.
Captain: Plenty of power. Yeah, we have a fully covered flybridge. Fully covered, if necessary.
Captain: Now, a few things about Lucky Clover that you might already know. We can accommodate 12 guests. We have five double cabins plus one cabin which has the two bunk beds. The two outside cabins are the more spacious ones. So, not in terms of the bed, the beds are the same in each cabin, but these two have more storage space.
Captain: Guests like to have cocktails and read books or chill up here which is a very nice cozy area. So yeah, here it is. This, they did a really good job here with the hybrid. Yeah. Yeah. This is very authentic Greece. So right in the afternoon we've got the winds coming, you lift the sail and you go sailing, right? Yeah. This is ideal weather conditions if you want to sail for this way. Like you can see both sides of either the bow or the stern of the boat. And it makes my life so much easier in terms of maneuvering.
Captain: For me as a captain, I'm from Greece, so I could easily take for granted what we have here, but the main difference is the small islands that have completely different identities and they are so close to each other. So we have islands in the Saronic Gulf that could be 1 hour away from each other but still you see completely different architectures and the same goes for Cyclades. Cyclades is more party islands like Mykonos, Santorini, Paros, all that. So they still have the common thing that there are party islands but the identity of each island can only be experienced by going there. So that's what the main difference than the Bermudas or Mallorca. Most islands have hidden beaches which I love exploring. So being able to show to my guests places that are kind of unexplored is a very nice thing to do.
Broker: You know they always ask us what does a captain do? You know we can start by saying you're in charge of the boat, in charge of the safety, but actually you're a lot more, aren't you? You know you can be their best friend, you can be the tour guide. You can teach them about Greece itself, about the different spots. So what's your favorite style of captaining?
Captain: It really depends on the guests. My preferred style is to be close to the guests, to fill their needs and try to satisfy their every request. But it's not always easy because you have to adapt to the guests and apart from adapting you have to try to understand things that they might not like about weather conditions, about ports, about anything and try to make up for it with a good attitude and with the crew's skills. So cooking for example is a very powerful tool to make the guests' attitude lighten up, right? To be able to do like water skiing, water sports and then after that Amalia to prepare a huge meal for them always puts a smile on their face. Yeah.
Broker: Give us a call, inquire now. We'll find you the boat.

Good morning, Captain, how's it going?
Hello, Captain Yiannis, thank you. And is it okay if I take a look around your yacht?
Captain: Yes, good morning. I'm the first, thank you.
Thank you for showing me around. Yeah, good morning. Hello, nice to meet you.
A smaller cabin here with a very bathroom and so where all the toilets, right?
Automatically, the yacht on the inside is air-conditioned and each cabin has a separate controller for the air conditioning.
It looks like the focus is on comfort here. The mirror-like cabin over here is on the other side, and on that side you can see.
They're gathered together.
The second of the city, he only becomes from the other one, is that the seat is inside the bedroom, not inside the toilet.
Now let's check the flybridge.
Because over here, two separate groups. The clients can take them everywhere.
A special time, we will see it come in the back as well. That's a new model. It's so many little details for comfort.
When you are done, as I said before, you can put it in and out on the nose in about five to ten minutes.
The glass account of the Lagoon 52 over here, and also we have put these cup cases over here and over that side.
We made the cupcakes. We have three separate ski pairs, the black, red ones for children. This one is, as you can see, it has a connection in front, so it's meant for ski instruction because our captain is a ski instructor. So in a couple of days, he can teach you the first tricks for skiing. It's a little laser that can be used as a windsurf as well. Oh, the laser as well, exactly.
You can write down the reference every day to give in any case, understand.
I would, yeah, we have men who, so our, thank you for showing me around and I must say this looks very comfortable and convenient. So thank you.
