The consensus seems to be that Freedom is the best option for large group yacht charters (22 to be exact)—you get so much yacht and great luxury facilities for your money! But that is if you can get her.
We are not the only ones who see the value in freedom; she only has one week of availability left for the summer of 2025. Why is she so popular? Because she is one of the few yachts to offer this much luxury for that many people for that price. She is considered a mini cruise ship (this means she is certified with the right safety equipment to have more than 12 people onboard), but she manages to maintain her private superyacht feel.
Plus, she has fantastic amenities, including a spa, gym, pool, jacuzzi, cinema room, poker table, and a huge garage full of water toys.

Presented by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht FREEDOM is a 78 ft motor yacht featuring a jetski. The key elements of FREEDOM are her absolute comfort and alfresco dining areas. FREEDOM spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was completed by the ship builder Alalunga in 2007. An elegant refit was fulfilled in 2021. The expansive yacht layout features 4 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a group of 10 guests.
FREEDOM is classified as a superyacht. The prominent section of the yacht, expansive aft deck, leads to the well-equipped and inviting main saloon. The main saloon is a comfortable space that is well-equipped and inviting for meaningful conversations and boasts a number of entertainment options. 4 welcoming cabins are laid out for maximum privacy and comfort.
The motor yacht features ENGINES: 2 x 1650 HP Caterpillar GENERATORS: 2 x 20 kW Kohler GENERATORS CONS.: 100 Ltrs/Day engines .

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like FREEDOM, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (€7,000 - €11,200), making the charter cost €35,000 to €39,200. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Thanos most recently served as Sole Chef on board the 24-meter charter yacht M/Y Freedom and as Sous & Crew Chef on board the 73-meter M/Y Lady Vera, where he successfully catered to diverse dietary requirements and delivered refined dishes under pressure.
