Captain's Interview: Itineraries, Crew, and Yacht Features
The captain of Cookie discusses preferred Greek islands, crew service, cabin configurations, water production, fuel consumption, and onboard water toys.
I believe I have the best crew. We are a small medium category, it's a 24-meter boat, four cabin, eight and a half people may sleep.
Captain 1:02
We consider on the boat the customers that are coming as friends, as family, and that's how we treat them.
Captain 2:11
In the Greek weather and waves, these boats are traveling much more better due to the speed of smashing the waves and going.

Transcript — Captain's Interview: Itineraries, Crew, and Yacht Features
Captain: As island, I prefer Milos. As island as a history, I love Monemvasia, which is down in Peloponnese. Itinerary may vary from Cyclades, which is the most popular, or Argosaronic, with starting point here in Poros, which is one of the, let's say, oldest parts of Greece. Poros, Spetses, Hydra, Nafplio, depends on what our friends want. If they want to party, we take them places to party. If they want to have a, let's say, good eating fish, Greek, we take them to islands that there are mostly fishermen that own taverns, small places.
I believe I have the best crew. We are a small medium category. It's a 24-meter boat, four cabin, eight and a half people may sleep. We have two doubles and two with single beds, plus one Pullman bed for one child of 1.5 meters, 1.6.
We produce about 200 liters per hour with a capacity of almost 2,000 liters of water. We have two water heaters of 80 liters, so we have 24 hours hot water.
A lot of attention because we are a crew of five people: captain, chef, deckhand, and we have two stewardesses, one for down and one to be 24 hours with the customers, that friends, because we consider on the boat the customers that are coming as friends, as family, and that's how we treat them.
Fuel consumption is about 480 liters per hour on the cruising speed of 20 knots. And we have also 120 liters 24 hours for the generator. We have two generators; we switch them every 24 hours for resting and for backup.
We have the jet ski, lots of toys. We have two donuts, we have skis, whatever you need, the trampoline. Our guest can sit here while we are moving on small speeds, but generally when we are cruising, we prefer to have them or upstairs or behind in the saloon for their safety. It's a 19 to 21 knots cruising speed, depends of the weather always. Catamaran is going up to 8-10 knots, very spacious.
Yet in the Greek weather and waves, these boats are traveling much more better due to the speed of, let's say, smashing the waves and going. And also we have better places in the marinas, why? Because we are narrow, that's the best.
