Equipped with a hydraulic platform that makes sailing available for everyone. Innovation and luxury all in one yacht. She has five double cabins all with ensuite facilities to accommodate 10 guests in comfort, perfect to accommodate five couples. Blue Velvet can have up to 12 guests, as there is an extra cabin with upper and lower bunk beds (ideal for two children or young adults, again with ensuite facilities). Also loved by families with children, who enjoy the spacious front and flybridge area. The available water toys will bring fun to another level. 2025 refit includes: new net in the front, new salons in the cockpit, new Bimini and new lazy jack, teak in cockpit and new teak table in the cockpit.
Offered by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht Blue Velvet is a 52 ft sailing catamaran. The promiment features of Blue Velvet are her absolute comfort and culinary experience. Blue Velvet spends the summer season in Greece. She was constructed by the well-known ship builder Lagoon in 2020. The well-planned yacht layout features 6 large cabins and easily accommodates up to 12 guests.
Blue Velvet is presented primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck features a variety of seating areas and that's where most of the delicious meals are served. The fascinating cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). The cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. Multiple portholes supply a sunny feeling, with the option for darkness and privacy.
The sailboat features 2x80hp & 1x23kwa 1x13kwa engines and a generator.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailing catamaran like Blue Velvet, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€3,552 - €6,216), making the charter cost €21,312 to €23,976. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Panos runs BLUE VELVET like a race boat tuned for family cruising, reading the Greek winds fast and steering you into quiet anchorages while everyone else is still checking the chart. He is calm when the meltemi howls, moves decisively when a good swim spot appears, and folds all that experience into an easy, no-drama charter ride for you.
- Born 1968 in Messolonghi, Greece; nationality: Greek.
- Started sailing with the Sailing Club of Patras; multiple awards in national championships including Ionian and Aegean Rally.
- Owned and fully refitted his own sailing boat at age 25.
- Over 20 years working as a professional skipper with the same company.
Christina runs the inside of BLUE VELVET with the same precision as a good workout: tight timing on meals, cold drinks on cue, and a quiet eye on what each guest actually likes, not what they said they like. She flips from hosting to helping on deck to leading a stretch session on the bow nets without dropping the thread.

We were 9 people, all have had extensive boating and yachting experience on many similar boats.
- Hospitality: the team were fantastic, we felt welcomed and cared for every minute of our trip. The hostess Christina was there for us every step of the way to ensure everything was smooth and comfortable.
- Food: It was perfect! And furthermore, the chef took special care to accommodate our eating habits and special diets which were not easy.
- Navigation: Captain Panos is a true captain and knows his boat and area inside and out. It was very comforting for us to know that we were in good hands on the boat. He took the time to understand our preferences and made sure to suggest the finest places along the way.
- Cleanliness: The rooms were kept nicely clean at all times. So was the deck of the boat.
- Overall: The crew took amazing care of us. We are very thankful and can’t wait to be back on the Blue Velvet with this crew. They never hesitated to help or turned down a suggestion. It was great to be with them and feel so welcomed.
