I like teak decks, but um, they get hot. They get hot. It's nice having a main cabin kind of spanning both hulls. We moved the Jacuzzi because it basically didn't get used. You could say that Skylark goes between the two pillars of Heracles, just like the voyages of old time. What makes it so special that you stay on board for 12 years? I mean, mainly the space, to be honest with you. Like a power boat will go a lot quicker and consume a lot more, a lot more fuel. Um, but a power cat, um, you know, it's just, um, it's a large platform. It's just a lot more stable, unless you have more stabilizers, right? A lot more stable, and it's just a, you know, a larger space just to kind of like spread out. Um, we've got four cabins, um, so, you know, eight people. Um, say, uh, a, uh, a 22-meter power boat, they're going to have much less space on which to spread out. But a 22-meter cat, you know, the volume is, uh, that much, that much more. Our cruising speed is around 11 knots, depending on conditions. Consume approximately 20 to 22 liters per engine at cruising speed, so around 40 to 45. That's good at cruising. Got a top speed of around 20, 28, um, but then, you know, obviously consumption goes up significantly, significantly. Yeah, and I think as a cruising speed, 11 knots is a very good. Yeah. Power catamarans in general are a lot more affordable than monohulls, so monohull motor yachts. Um, and then also, you know, once you have the APA, um, the, the motor yachts have a much higher APA because of the fuel consumption. So the overall charter, um, experience is going to be more expensive than, than a power cat.

It's a four-cabin boat: two cabins starboard, one up front, and one on port side. This is, uh, the smallest number four. Yeah, for a 2012 model, she's really, really good condition, great.

Smells. This is the, uh, second cabin, the VIP. We have a water maker on board, produces about 200 liters an hour. Air conditioning in cabin, of course. Internet, TV. It's an old boat, but we've got all the.

Mod cons. Now, it's nice having a main cabin kind of spanning both hulls. Yeah, because I know some boats these days, some cats, have the main cabin just on port side or just on starboard, which kind of like restricts the, uh, so, so a centered, um, master cabin or bed, um, also gives them, you know, you're not in the hull, so you're not going to have ex, you know, when it's a bit bumpy, you don't have that extreme, um, exactly, elevation change, right? Exactly. Very stable.

Here, it's not just the Mediterranean. We do the Adriatic, et cetera. So you could say that Skylark goes between the two pillars of Heracles, just like the voyagers of old times. Wow, okay. And, um, being able to do that just gives you a scale and a breadth. And please, like I said, don't get me wrong, I love the Caribbean. I love the people, I love the produce. But here again, you have more of a variety. And because at the end of the day, um, I started off with classic training, so this is where I'm comfortable.

Personally, this is the flybridge. It's probably the nicest place on the boat to hang out. Yeah, we did originally have a Jacuzzi up here, um, but we removed that in, in preference for more lounging space. Very nice. Um, basically, it's Jacuzzi just didn't get used.

It looks nice for, you know, the brochures, I suppose. Um, but practically, why have a Jacuzzi if you've got a big pool around here? Exactly. Yeah, plus, um, you really have to have the boat very, very kind of stable, uh, to avoid spillage, right? Um, which you can basically only get in a marina or in a very, very calm day. So it just wasn't used, and this is a lot nicer. So what do you think about, uh, a teak deck versus fiberglass deck? I like teak decks, but, um, they get hot. They, they get hot, and also a lot more, a lot more upkeep required, right? We can see that, you know, beautiful cabins, uh, the chef, um, really great attitude. She's, um, very detail-oriented. They have all the sports equipment you would want, even an e-foil, which you don't really get on the, the smaller power catamarans. So, yeah, I'd say go for it.
