How Booked Is Greece for Summer 2027? What We Track

As of 12 October 2026, 122 of the 554 crewed yachts we track for Greece already show a confirmed booking between 3 July and 28 August 2027, and 16 more show a hold. Our guide to Greece yacht charter prices has the full picture.

What does this mean for your charter?

If you want a Greek yacht for July or August 2027, you are early, not late. Nine months out, about one yacht in five already shows a booking in the peak weeks. The rest show nothing recorded yet, which is not the same as available, so we confirm with each yacht’s manager before we promise dates.

Catamarans fill first. Of the 191 crewed catamarans we track for Greece, 72 already show a booking in those weeks, close to two in five.

How full is the Greek fleet for summer 2027?

Counted from the yachts’ own booking calendars on 12 October 2026:

Window	Yachts tracked	Already booked	Share
3 July to 28 August 2027, all types	554	122	22%
3 July to 28 August 2027, catamarans	191	72	38%
24 July to 14 August 2027, all types	554	79	14%

Two things the numbers do not say. 310 of the 554 yachts have no entries on their calendar at all, so some are simply not kept up to date, and the real share is likely higher. And a gap between two bookings is not a free week until turnaround days are checked.

Why do catamarans book earlier?

Families book catamarans, and families book around school holidays, so late July to mid August goes first. Several catamarans delivered in 2026 and 2027 already show July bookings.

Our take

Pick the yacht you actually want by January. Greek rates are set per season, so waiting does not make the week cheaper, and the yachts that go first are the newest catamarans and the ones with the best crews. If your dates are fixed, ask us to place a hold while you decide.

How we count: every crewed yacht listed for Greece on the main central-agency calendar system, with bookings, holds and blocks as entered by each yacht’s manager. Bareboats and yachts listed only elsewhere are not included.
