Represented by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht PROJECT STEEL is a 112 ft motor yacht featuring a jetski. PROJECT STEEL spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was constructed by the ship builder Bugari in 1993. A succesful refit was fulfilled in 2007/2014/2019/2020. The ingenious yacht layout features 5 cozy cabins and easily accommodates a group of 12 guests.

PROJECT STEEL is classified as a superyacht. The roomy aft deck continues to the the heart of the yacht - the main saloon. The main saloon is a comfortable space for early mornings or late evenings and boasts a number of entertainment options.

5 elegant cabins are purposefully laid out for maximum privacy and comfort.

The motor yacht features ENGINES: 2x630hpMAN GENERATORS: 1 X 50KW/ 1 X 27 KW Onan (2016) FUEL CONSUMPTION: 130lt/h @ 11.5Knots GENERATORS CONS.: 170/Day RANGE: 3000NM @ 10 Knots engines and a generator.

Captain: Evangelos Chatzigiannakoudis

CAPTAIN: Evangelos Chatzigiannakoudis
Evangelos born in 1976, is a devoted seaman with 25 years of experience. He started his career onboard commercial and cruise ships where he gained all the necessary skills needed to run a tight ship. He holds commander class A master diploma from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos and RYA/MCA Yaxhtmaster Ocean power drivern craft and sailing vessel certificate as well as skipper license from 1998. His safety-conscious and professional attitude together with his interpersonal skills make him a great captain and companion to explore the sea. . He speaks Greek and English, and his outgoing personality and willingness to please his guests contribute to an unforgettable charter experience. Evangelos has also graduated from University of Plymouth UK on HND Marine and Composites Technology and Marine Biology and holds a degree on International Busines Administration. He loves Surf, reading, spear diving and Cycling!

CHEF: Konstantinos Katsaros

Konstantinos was born in Athens Greece and graduated from Le monde culinary arts school. He joined yachting in 2004 in various motor and sailing yachts with excellent references along with extensive restaurant and hotel background as a chef. Previous yachts: M/Y NOURAH OF RIYAD 70m, M/Y HASABI 60m, M/Y LADY SARYA 70m, M/Y PROTEUS 35m, S/Y ELEN V 40m, M/Y AMADEUS 33m etc. He has also attended many seminars on Original Mediterranean cuisine and plate decoration. He specializes in Mediterranean, Japanese, Arabic, Thai, fusion, vegan, gluten free and pastries cuisine. Konstantinos is excited to create extraordinary food experiences for the guests on board Project Steel. He has a family and speaks Greek and English


CHIEF STEWARDESS Μaria Agapidi
Maria is born in Athens in 1992 and had graduated from food technology Athens University, Chemistry Sussex University and attended courses in National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her love for the sea made her jump in the yachting sector working as a stewardess and chief stewardess of various Motor yachts. Maria’s quiet and gentle personality ensures that every guest’s needs are met with a genuinely warm smile. Her goal is that every guest of PROJECT STEEL leaves the yacht with memories for a lifetime. Maria speaks Greek, English & German.


STEWARDESS: Koralia Driva
Koralia is a hardworking individual with excellent communication skills, able to motivate herself as a team member. Her attention to detail and great organizational skills along with her tireless work ethic ensures a high standard of service to her guests. Before joining M/Y PROJECT STEEL’s team Koralia gained valuable experience on M/Y Elena V & M/Y George Five. Koralia speaks Greek & English.

DECKHAND: Alexandros Soulies
He has Joined yachting in 2006 of full time professional experience working on board private and charter yachts (22 m to 50m ) as deckhand and 2nd engineer. He has many technical skills, and is a hardworking, energetic, and enthusiastic member of the team. He also has valid certificates for Life Saving and Fire Fighting, Open water Padi, speedboat license and speaks fluent English and Greek

DECKHAND: Thomas Belsis
He has Joined yachting in 2013 of full-time professional experience working on board private and charter yachts and more than 6 years onboard Project Steel. He holds a license as a skipper and his big love is sailing. He has many technical skills, and is a hardworking, energetic, and enthusiastic member of the team. Thomas speaks English, he is single, and his favorite hobby is fishing.

Its unanimous, this has been the vacation of a lifetime!! Here we are 11 people from all over the United States, on a yacht in Greece with the best captain and crew anyone could ask for, especially while we were cruising through gale force winds on our way to Mykonos. The remaining few days were spent on private beaches and quant towns that screamed “we live here!” The amazing Project Steel crew went above & beyond to make this the most memorable experience to celebrate three 30th Birthdays. From endless frappes and wine to fuel days on the “Sea bob”, wild theme nights and non – stop group photos. We couldn’t have asked for more fantastic crew!! Until next time, Love you so much guys!!

This is our second trip onboard p.s. and we are already planning the third! Another magical family holiday and 50th celebration. Everyone from 4 to 74 had the most special, relaxing and memorable holiday! The incredible team of crew did everything and anything to make us comfortable and welcome. They looked after children so well and with so much love ire really meant we could relax! The sandy beached, delicious food, water sports and evening explorations were all we had looked forward to and dreamt of! Captain introduced us the most idyllic islands that we did not knew existed. Chef introduced us special recipes and we had keeping asking for them! We have fell in love with Greece all over again thanks to the crew who matters most - Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

This was our 10year wedding anniversary trip. We were married on the island of Hydra 5/22/2008. That trip is what Fairytales are made of. However, this trip by far exceeds what we ever expected. The crew of Project Steel went above ‘beyond to make our anniversary trip a very special romantic occasion as they helped to recreate our wedding day! They became our wedding party! What a wonderful day! Captain John totally earned our respect* trust as he navigated our journey through the most scenic, historic and beautiful locations in Greece! Peter and Thomas were the Captains right & left hands, they made us feel safe and the journey smooth and totally loved their smiles! Chef Myrto is an amazing, talented, creative, Michelin chef ad she uses her culinary skills to please any skeptical palate and she will keep you fat and happy haha! She could easily sell her own cookbook! Thank you all for this amazing experience!

I think I can speak for everyone when I say this was the best holiday we have ever had. All the staff could not have been more attentive, sweet, polite and on point. The beautiful yacht was the most luxurious with more than enough space for our group of twelve. We will be talking about the adventures that came with being on this boat and to all the picturesque swimming spots, beached and caves! We all love and appreciate you guys and thank you so much for putting up with our crazy crew. We will be recommending the crew, captain and Project runway to literally EVERYONE. First of all, I am very proud to say that we were the first to “try” Project Steel, Captain John and his amazing crew three years ago, when my husband told me that we were going to spend a week on a yacht, I was not very enthusiastic. Indeed, I come from a sailing background, I used to visit the Cyclades with my family on my parents sailing boat with my father as a skipper and my mum as a cook. So, to go on a yacht with a whole crew was a big jump! I enjoyed so much my first trip with Project Steel that I took the risk to bring my parents with us this time. And that was a real gamble! But it seems it was a great success! If I took the risk it is because of the boat sturdy, not too fast, not too noisy, not using too much fuel, the closest as you can get to a sailing boat. But most of all we took the risk because of captain John and his amazing crew! Captain John is also from a sailing background. He has a real respect from mother nature and a real love of the sea. And he is clever enough to choose a fantastic team! Antony is amazing! He was a very good cook 3 years ago but now he really is impressive! Elina, Mirto and Efi were very professional, caring efficient, nice and discrete. Nik and Thomas were very helpful with all the watersports and always enthusiastic! Again, we had an amazing time! A perfect holiday on board Progect Steel. Hoe relaxed it made us all feel.
The staff so professional, friendly and kind doing all the toy cars they didnt seem to mind! Exciting water sports especially the jet ski. Brave little Max out in the deep sea! Antony, Maria, Roger, Peter, Nick and Captain John will all of the children his biggest fans. Amazing lunches, dinners and chocolate cakes, sorry for all the requests for milkshakes!
Salads, grocery, but we still asked for more getting our appetite swimming back from shore! Max as a Captain in sunglasses and hat and Teddy reading the tides currents and maps! Maria and Leo new best matters going not to be tripped up carrying the plates! Always looking to be on the biggest boat but we know this is the best ship afloat!
From ages 2 to 72 we have had the best holiday its all to sad we want to stay!

1)Captain John : If you look up captain in the dictionary, Johns name is listed. We always felt safe in his capable hands. Best Captain ever!
2)Peter(Takis) : Such a caring Indiradual who was always there to help (and secure wakeboard and paddle boarders).
3)Anthony(Adonis) : He perpetuates beauty externally and though hs preparation of food. Everyday was a culinary adventure.
4)Nick(Spiderman) : He made sucks we all had a fabulous time with him on water sports, especially Dominico!
5)Maria. Maria embodies everything that is beautiful about Greece! We begged her to go home with us.

We are a family of five coming from Switzerland and a friend coming from Bruxelles.
We just spent a fabulous week travelling from Faliro to Serifos via Amorgos and its fabulous monastery, Koufonisi and its wonderful beaches, Schoinousa, Irakleia ...Paros...
Coming to Greece we were looking for authenticity, peace, quietness beauty.
And that is just what we found!
The captain was excellent at finding beautiful unspoilt spots to swim and do all sorts of water sports.
The team was great, nothing to say! Professional helpful enthusiastic kind and last but not least they all seemed to get along together. The food on board was very good, homemade and fresh and the comfort of the beds was excellent. Thank you to team who made our trip a real success.

Indeed, I come from a sailing background, I used to visit the Cyclades with my family on my parents sailing boat with my father as a skipper and my mum as a cook. So, to go on a yacht with a whole crew was a big jump! I enjoyed so much my first trip with Project Steel that I took the risk to bring my parents with us this time. And that was a real gamble! But it seems it was a great success! If I took the risk it is because of the boat sturdy, not too fast, not too noisy, not using too much fuel, the closest as you can get to a sailing boat. But most of all we took the risk because of captain John and his amazing crew! Captain John is also from a sailing background. He has a real respect from mother nature and a real love of the sea. And he is clever enough to choose a fantastic team! Antony is amazing! He was a very good cook 3 years ago but now he really is impressive! Elina, Mirto and Efi were very professional, caring efficient, nice and discrete. Nik and Thomas were very helpful with all the watersports and always enthusiastic! Again, we had an amazing time! He has been a member of the Greek national Sailing team for more than 5 years. John has also worked as a Professional Skipper on offshore Racing Sailboats, International Delivery skipper for Princess Yachts (2005-2011), a Sailing instructor (1998-2008), Captain on the Motor yachts "Touchdown", "Tools" and "Blue My Mind". During the winter seasons John has worked in the Merchant Marine Industry as a Marine Superintendent onboard Oil and Chemical tankers for Elmira Tankers and Blue Sea Shipping Monaco. John has graduated from Nautical high school for the proficiency of Merchant Marine deck officer and is holder of Yacht Master Offshore commercially endorsed licenses for both Sailing and Motor driven vessels. He also holds Certificates for First Aid, Passenger Safety, Security officer, Life Saving and Fire fighting, public responsibilities as per STCW. requirements and speaks fluent English and Greek. John is single and his hobby is sailing.<br /> <br /> ENGINEER: Konstantinos Thermos<br /> Konstantinos was born 1984 in Athens Greece. He started his professional carrier on Ferry boats and he joined yachting industry in 2009. Konstantinos has graduated Merchant Marine Academy of Hydra. He also has valid certificates for Life Saving and Fire Fighting, Ship security, safe navigation and speaks fluent English and Greek. Konstantinos is single and his Hobbies except for sailing are, fishing, music and travelling.<br /> <br /> CHEF: Antonios Zafiriou<br /> Antonis was born 1987 in Athens Greece. He has studied at the well-reputed "LE MONDE" Institute in Athens. After working his way up from third chef to head chef in many highly recognized restaurants in Athens he moved to Paris in order to continue his studies in Cuisine and Patisserie at the << Cordon Blue>> institute. <br /> Antonis has also completed seminars for Espresso-Cappuccino and has good knowledge of Bar-tending and Cocktails. After returning from Paris he successfully stated to work as head Chef onboard the "M/Y NITTA V" , "M/Y DRAGON" and many years on board "PROJECT STEEL". He speaks fluent English and basic French. <br /> <br /> <br /> STEWARDESS Olga Kothi<br /> Olga has started her work life in the service department of various restaurants, aiming to uplift her service skills and customer service techniques. Olga's quiet and gentle personality ensures that every guests' needs are met with a genuinely warm smile. After completing her first season in 2019 she has started her journey to continuously evolve and improve her skills providing exceptional service and care to her guests, always with a smile. She has been an active athlete in the past competing in volleyball and gymnastics. Professional helpful enthusiastic kind and last but not least they all seemed to get along together. The food on board was very good, homemade and fresh and the comfort of the beds was excellent.
