BABALU 51 Yacht Description

Offered by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht BABALU 51 is a 50 ft sailing catamaran. The most appealing features of BABALU 51 are her generous space and culinary experience. BABALU 51 spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was constructed by the renowned boatbuilder Lagoon in 2024. The spacious yacht layout features 5 large cabins and easily accommodates up to 10 guests.

BABALU 51 is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the core layout is spread out from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck features a variety of seating areas and that's where most of the meals are served. The fascinating cabins are connected by stairs to the main saloon - roomy, comfortable and pleasant. The cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). Multiple portholes offer desirable views, while providing privacy if needed.

The sailboat features 2 x 80 hp Yanmar engines and a generator.

Captain: Lefteris Fanioudakis

Captain Lefteris Fanioudakis
Lefteris was born in 1989 in Crete island. Among other certificates he holds the MCA/RYA certificate of Competence Yacht master Ocean for Power & Sailing vessels, Captain’s Medical Care and PADI Dive Master certificate. Lefteris could not think of a life away from the sea, so he was always seeking to combine his job with it. When he was younger he started working as a windsurfing instructor in Crete, then he continued as a skipper on various commercial sailing vessels and since then he has worked both on sailing yachts/catamarans and motor yachts in Greece. During his spare time, if he is not sailing, she likes cycling, travelling, windsurfing, taking photographs and paragliding. Also, he is a volunteer fireman. Apart from Greek he also speaks English. He is always ready to welcome his guests on board to ensure an unforgettable experience and show the most beautiful hotspots of Greek islands!

Lefteris could not think of a life away from the sea, so he was always seeking to combine his job with it. When he was younger he started working as a windsurfing instructor in Crete, then he continued as a skipper on various commercial sailing vessels and since then he has worked both on sailing yachts/catamarans and motor yachts in Greece. During his spare time, if he is not sailing, she likes cycling, travelling, windsurfing, taking photographs and paragliding. Also, he is a volunteer fireman. Apart from Greek he also speaks English.
