EXPLORION is a 2023 Aquila power cat that thinks it’s a 70‑footer and burns fuel like it’s not trying to impress anyone. The wide-beam design gives you big-boat volume on a 54ft platform, so you get serious living space without paying for unnecessary length or unnecessary diesel.
Core payload: one full-beam main-deck master with a king bed plus three queen cabins, all en-suite, for up to 8 guests. Translation: four real cabins, real bathrooms, and actual privacy. The master runs across the main deck with a split-level layout, so you get light, space, and a bathroom that doesn’t feel like an afterthought.
Social architecture is built around flow, not furniture catalog shots. Open galley/salon feeds directly to an aft sit-up bar with a flip-up window, so drinks and food move without drama. Up top, the shaded flybridge takes over as the main “command center” with dining, grill, and lounging; forward, adjustable sunpads and sofas handle the horizontal part of your day.
Hardware for play is fully installed: Highfield 420 tender with 60hp Yamaha, Seabob, Scubajet, 2 SUPs, water skis (adult & kids), wakeboard, towable tube, fishing gear, snorkel gear, and floating mats. If you get bored here, that’s user error.
For the work-obsessed, EXPLORION is wired for remote office mode. Onboard Wi‑Fi, printer, laptop support, and quiet, air-conditioned cabins mean you can take calls in a suit jacket and swim shorts, then step back into vacation in under 10 seconds.
Three professional crew run the ship and the experience. Captain, chef, and deckhand operate from separate crew quarters, so service is visible when you want it and invisible when you don’t. Add full AC, TVs in all cabins and saloon, proper coffee machine, ice maker, and a serious galley, and you’ve got a compact, efficient platform built for groups who care about space, comfort, and fuel numbers more than chandeliers.

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a power catamaran like EXPLORION, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€4,200 - €7,350), making the charter cost €25,200 to €28,350. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew
Captain: Kostas Perdikaris
Konstantinos drives EXPLORION through the tight, windy parts of Greece like he was born on these channels, turning complex island hops into smooth, confident runs for you and your crew. He reads weather, water, and crowds fast, so you get quiet anchorages, clean swims, and zero drama.
- Born in Greece in 1993; native Greek captain.
- Advanced open sea sailing license from HYCA (2018).
- Professional charter experience across Aegean, Saronic, Sporades, and Ionian Seas since 2015.
- Certified in coastal, pool, and river rescue plus freediving to 8 meters.
Isaac runs the galley like a sharp, quiet engine, dropping refined Cretan and Mediterranean plates on the table that feel local, clean, and dialed exactly to what you and your group actually want to eat out here. He works fast in tight space, so long swims and late returns still end with serious food, not compromise.
- Born in 1983; Greek nationality.
- Graduated from culinary school in 2011.
- Up to 12 years’ experience in Cretan hotels, luxury catamarans, and fine-dining restaurants.
- Fluent in Greek and English.
Paris keeps the boat running tight on the outside—lines clean, toys launched, guests moved safely—while staying loose enough to read the mood and turn every swim stop or tender run into the kind of moment you actually remember. He sees the shot, the angle, the timing, and quietly sets it up so you just step in and enjoy it.
- Born in Greece in 1987.
- Professional experience on Santorini day cruises and luxury private yachts as steward.
- Holds a speedboat driver’s license.
- Active interests in sailing, traveling, and professional photography.
