WIND OF CHANGE Yacht Description

  • Extensive water toy collection:
Includes wakeboards, water skis, paddleboards, donuts, and an inflatable tube for 3 guests – perfect for family fun on water.
  • NOVAMARINE 4.10m tender with 40HP Honda:
Quick and easy water access for up to 4 guests, ideal for exploring Greek islands and secluded beaches.
  • Full Wi-Fi throughout the yacht:
Stay connected with high-speed internet in all areas—great for working remotely or sharing your adventure live.

WIND OF CHANGE is what happens when a serious sailing hull meets a serious sound system. Classic 29m Ron Holland sloop, refit with Ralph Lauren interiors, oversized deck speakers (1 km range, yes really), dual-zone entertainment inside and out, Wi‑Fi, PlayStation, and a DJ‑console-ready aft deck. If you want an “actual sailing yacht” that also does “floating club” for six people, this is it.

Use case: up to 6 guests, 3 ensuite cabins (master, VIP, twin), fully air‑conditioned, run by a 4‑person crew who actually sail, not just motor from bay to bay. Steel hull, proper sail plan, 9‑knot cruise under power and a lot more fun under canvas.

Water side of the story: tender with 40hp outboard, SUPs, wakeboard, waterskis, towables, snorkelling gear, and full beach set‑up, so the day can flip from “under sail, quiet” to “tow toys + beach BBQ” without friction.

Core value proposition: you’re not renting a floating condo; you’re chartering a classic sailing yacht that’s been refit for modern comfort and plugged straight into your phone, your playlist, and your idea of what a sailing week should feel like.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailboat like WIND OF CHANGE, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€3,600 - €7,200), making the charter cost €27,600 to €31,200. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew

Captain: Vasilis Voudouroglou

Captain Panagiotis drives Wind of Change like he owns the chart, slipping you into quiet anchorages and wind lanes most skippers never see, and he does it with the calm of someone who has already handled every kind of sea mood. His focus is sharp, his style low‑key, and guests feel it the moment the yacht heels and the coast starts pulling past the rail.
  • Greek Captain, born 1974, holding a Class A Captain’s license.
  • Background at sea on commercial ships before moving to yachts such as S/Y Andromeda.
  • Extensive practical knowledge of Greek coastlines, anchorages, and sailing routes.
  • Languages: English and Greek.

Jason builds menus around the sea and the market that morning, dropping clean, focused plates that hit flavor first and never slow the pace of the day. He reads the table fast, shifts gears even faster, and keeps every meal sharp, light, and on point with where you are on the map.
  • Greek national, Chef’s diploma from “Le Monde” Institute of Culinary Art, Athens.
  • Advanced training in olive oil, wine, modern Greek techniques, Thai cuisine, and fitness-focused food.
  • London restaurant experience including “Eat Vietnam”, “Santorini” Greek restaurant, and Michelin-awarded “Norma”.
  • Languages: English.

Panagiota runs the interior like a tight, quiet circuit—service lands exactly when you want it, cabins stay dialed in, and she keeps the mood light even when the schedule is running hot. She is tuned to small details, so guests feel looked after without ever feeling managed.
  • Greek, born 1973 in Athens; studied Hotel Management.
  • Professional background in Sales before entering yachting in 2020.

Lilian is the one who turns the toys and lines into motion, launching you fast into the water and pulling you back aboard before the spray hits cold, all with an easy grin that keeps the deck loose. He keeps operations tight behind the scenes so you only see the fun part.
  • Joined S/Y Wind of Change in 2015 as Able Seaman.
  • Holds all required Able Seaman certifications and a speedboat license.
  • Languages: English, Greek, and Russian.
