Lürssen is a family-run German shipyard, founded in 1875 in Aumund, near Bremen. It built AZZAM, 180.65 metres, which it calls the world’s longest yacht, and DILBAR, which it calls the largest motor yacht by gross tonnage at 15,917 tonnes; both are privately owned and not available for charter.
We list two Lürssen yachts that cruise Greek waters, and the countdown below runs from #2, the smaller, up to #1, the bigger, by listed length: CAPRI I at 192 feet and CORAL OCEAN at 239 feet. Both take 12 guests. After the countdown we cover two more Lürssen yachts with a Greek programme that we can arrange, a 1965 classic and the 73 metre TITANIA.
Which of the two to pick
CAPRI I is the one based in Athens, so she suits a week that starts and ends there, in the Saronic Gulf or the Cyclades. She is a 2003 Glade Johnson design with a full-beam master suite, a twin cabin on the main deck and three doubles and a twin below, so one cabin is clearly the best on board.
CORAL OCEAN is a 1994 Jon Bannenberg design, rebuilt in 2022 and 47 feet longer. Her six suites are close in size, so she suits a group of couples who want equal cabins, and her spa, gym and sauna suit a week built around wellness. She is based on the French Riviera, so a Greek week with her usually means a relocation fee on top of the rate.

2. CAPRI I
“Athens Home Port, Full-Beam Master”
CAPRI I is a 192 foot (58.6 m) Lürssen motor yacht built in 2003 and refitted in 2018. Her listed home port is Athens, which makes her a natural fit for a week in the Saronic Gulf or the Cyclades; confirm where she starts for your dates. She also cruises Turkey and Croatia. She has five decks and takes 12 guests in 6 cabins, and the full-beam master suite has its own sitting room and an onyx bathroom.
Her toys include three jet skis, one of them a stand-up, two Seabob F5S, a Fliteboard e-foil, a Flyboard and a Rib Eye 650 tender with a ski and wake tower. She has a fully equipped gym and a deck Jacuzzi. Her listing gives one rate, from €450,000 per week, plus 30% APA, with no season attached, so ask us for the July and August rate.
1. CORAL OCEAN
“Rebuilt in 2022, Six Even Suites”
CORAL OCEAN is a 239 foot (73 m) Lürssen built in 1994 and formerly known as CORAL ISLAND, with a Jon Bannenberg design, and rebuilt in 2022. The sun deck now has glass balustrades, a bar and a spa pool with a glass bottom. She takes 12 guests in six suites that are close in size.
Beyond the gym and sauna in the review below, she has a steam room and a massage room. The toys include jet skis, Seabobs, three Fliteboard e-foils, a waterslide and a Pardo 38 chase boat. She is based on the French Riviera, and Greece, including the Ionian and the Cyclades, is one of many summer areas on her listing; she can move to another destination for a relocation fee, so ask us what a Greek start adds. Her listing’s lowest rate, €495,000 per week, is a Caribbean winter rate. For a Mediterranean summer her rates start from €650,000 per week and reach €790,000 per week at the height of summer, plus VAT, 30% APA and a refundable security deposit.

A serious wellness yacht — the main-deck gym opens right up to the outdoors, with a reformer, ice bath, bikes, and treadmill, backed by a Pilates instructor, personal trainer, and spa masseuse on staff. She’s fully equipped for diving too, and the onboard spa, complete with sauna, is one of the most complete you’ll find. Toy days go all out, with the full water-toy fleet deployed.

TITANIA is a 73 metre Lürssen from 2006, refitted in 2018, for 12 guests in 7 cabins. She has two master cabins, a large Jacuzzi with a swim-up bar, a beach club at sea level, a sauna and a cold plunge, and zero-speed stabilisers. Her broker lists her summer cruising areas as Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, Corsica, France, Sardinia and Italy. Ask us about TITANIA.

CORAL OCEAN’s Mediterranean summer rates run from €650,000 to €790,000 per week plus 30% APA, and her listing adds VAT, a refundable security deposit and, for a Greek start, a relocation fee from the Riviera.
