As a Greek national, Nikos has sailed extensively in Greek as well as international waters, including Italy, France, Spain, and the Persian Gulf. Nikos has expertise in yacht maintenance, including painting, antifouling, electrical repairs, and engine mechanics. He has a proven track record in setting up newly acquired yachts, overseeing yard repairs, and building effective teams.Notable positions include serving as the Master of M/Y Nimara, a private yacht owned by a Greek shipowner, and as Deckhand on M/Y Samhan, the yacht of the King of Bahrain. Nikos has also worked on various other private and charter yachts, including S/Y Aquarius Alfa, M/Y Ouranos Too, M/Y Mine Too, and M/Y Ouranos, gaining valuable experience in yacht operations and maintenance. Nikos holds multiple certifications, including a Yacht Master 500gt and the Greek Offshore Sailing License. Fluent in Greek and English, Nikos is also passionate about underwater fishing, music, motorcycle travel, and photography. Haris, born in 1987, is a graduate of the Le Monde Institute of Hotel and Tourism Studies in Athens. Determined to expand his skills he has since attended a variety of seminars in Greece and France. His diverse professional background includes sous-chef positions in Icons Hotel in Santorini, Milos in Athens, Sani Resort in Chalkidiki, as well as private chef positions for high-profile individuals. He specialises in Mediterranean cuisine but his wide palette caters to all guests’ preferences and requirements. He entered the yachting industry in 2018 and has been elevating guest experience in many successful charter yachts . As a highly motivated individual, he always offers his most and this is why the MAKANI team are delighted to have him on board for the past 2 seasons. He is a fluent English speaker and loves music and travelling.

Anna, a graduate student in restaurant and hotel management who was born in 1995, has been a stewardess aboard motor yachts for the last five years.
